The TTRS iconic for £30k over a standard TTRS with zero power increase is just madness no matter how good it looks.

The bucket seats in the RS3 look superb don’t they and at least that car does come with a modest power increase.

Is it true that turbo blue is same colour as the GT3 shark blue? Love that colour too on the GT3.

Just noticed the awful little stick on Rear C pillar things, something more tacky looking than wind deflectors :puke2:

It’s Cornflower blue.

Sharks Blue is Porsche’s way of spelling of Turbo Blue

Turbo is lighter than shark blue. They are similar though.

Bit of kettle and pot there.

Also believe you’ve missed a word out of your sentence.

How dare people join the conversation when they actually own a car in one of the colours in question? Shocking behaviour.

Of = eyes not fully wakened lol ....You a Grammar teacher now as well as a Porsche PTS paint specialist .....l don't care what the paint codes indicate Voodo blue has a different paint code from Turbo Blue same as Turbo 's paint code differs from Sharks Blue they are the same colour and tone of blue l used Voodoo blue touch up paint on my Turbo TTS perfect match
Can't have Porsche customers buying a £180k car with blue paint named the same as a lowly Audi RS3....especially when they charge £1500 for on a 718 or even £5000 if they want/let themselves be conned into buying Voodoo blue = brand marketing....sapping more ££££ out the gullible

Ok but how about cornflower blue that he mentioned clearly as being the same paint code? I don’t see anywhere that voodoo is the same.

Also shark blue isn’t PTS. It’s a standard option.

I was referring to Simon owning a car in Shark Blue, I couldn’t have been talking about you since you don’t own an Audi. And never will now.

No need for name calling either.

Your catty remarks on my posts plus the multiple times you've answered other queries from members about my car/choices for me...has been noticeable on many occasions You and @A3simson coupled up together the last time concerning my choice of Paint colour Riviera blue saying it was ubiquitous to the eyes of most like every other blue colour yeah l don't own a Audi so what ....didn't know ye needed to own one to post on here
Sharks Blue,Turbo Blue and Voodoo blue are one in the same colour and l am 100% sure this same colour was used on a Volkswagen Polo circa 2015...like l said before its all down to marketing

Do you think the name of the colour also influences people? Daytona, Misano, Nogaro, Phantom, Suzuka are all cracking names for colours,

My Tango red RS3 is nice, but how much nicer and different would it be if its was Misano red, Misano sound good to me, Tango sounds like a pop can colour

Interesting he calls the RS3 system Haldex still.
Winter tyres on and a different result 100%

Given my cars performance today in the snow, I’d wager they all had winter tyres on. Did he not say that at the beginning actually?

Edit: He says that they have P-zeros on, but the tread pattern is 100% winter tyres. I doubt they’d have gotten up the first slope from a standstill with normal P-zeros.

Lol.

Never had any issues on SottoZero winters.

Didn’t hear him mention winters unless I missed it.

I suppose the spinning up of the wheels / back end snaking looks good for a video, however in real life you’d modulate the throttle to navigate up steep inclines, I live up something steeper than that and never had issues in any winter tyre equipped RS3.

The EV has sheer weight and individual wheel power control which will help it dig in to the surface.

Totally agree with it all. Same experience with winter tyres in general as you’ve said about the Pirelli’s, I imagine the slope is actually fairly steep and compacted as well, which won’t be helping.

He definitely didn’t say anything about winter tyres so you’re not wrong, he just says they’re all on P-zeros…

That really is rubbing salt in the sound isn’t it.

Awesome colour / interior / seats, inc lower perfect driving position.

Zero in the UK says it all !

A good review though, and tbh there's not that much different between a 'std' car and the'performance' version, interesting though that he thought the STronic shifted quicker, good 0-60 at 3.2secs

I’m shocked, shocked I tell you. The most powerful car of the same platform won the drag race.

Joking aside, the R still put up a good show.

^ Interesting, when we raced on 'road tyres' the trick was to shave brand new tyres from their original 6ish mm down to 2.5-3.0 mm, lots of companies offer this, they generally come back looking like they've been chewed by a beaver.

Also with wets the trick was sharp edges to the tyre blocks and a little more pressure to open the tread up :)
