BIL11 85 (mkII) 2022 RS3 8Y Build

Not me... my last 2 cars l sold left my driveway in better than showroom condition maybe its a generation thing these days but l am old school or is it that have conscience...or appreciation for expensive purchases
It’s nothing to do with that, I dare say I appreciate it as much or maybe even more than you?

do you think I deliberately meant for this to happen

Fair enough, we are not talking about selling to Doris down the road. We are talking about selling to one of biggest car manufacturers in the world. If they can't check a car properly that's up to them.

Half the time the salesmen dont care anyway. I sold my rs5 to audi and told them about the remap. "We will keep that to ourselves" he said.

I think your missing the point, it's audis responsibility to check the car in.

And whether its 35bhp or 100bhp added you've taken the car further than it was made to be by audi.
So if you bought this car from Audi with rusty arches what would you do?

I know I would be straight back there demading a full refund.

And If I was in Audi's shoes having bought what I thought to be a 6 month old standard car what would I do?

But they can see the rusty bodywork? They can't see a tuning box was on it
But the tuning box hasnt left it running on 4 cylinders or a rod hanging out of the block

Like I said I wouldn't have bought it with rusty arches I would have walked away

What has that got to do with anything?
Neither has spacers or a decat?

Anyway I'm going to leave this now. This is Billy's build thread which should be about his car.

If you don't like what he's done by selling the car back to audi even though they have inspected it maybe don't read his thread? Just an idea.

I have replied Mike so like carterRS has said, leave it at that before the tread gets locked. If your unhappy about anything, send me a private message.

Again, as above. I told them about this and took 1000s less than my advertised price, so I don’t see me doing ANYTHING wrong, as far as I know, they could have went and got it fixed. Not every dealer is bad ones!

End of!

Waiting to see how you get on with 10mm spacers and the 20mm drop. Some pics would be good too with this setup

Enjoying this thread / build billymc92. I told myself that I'd not do any modifications to my car (once it arrives), but seeing some of the bits you've done such as the steering wheel, paddle shifters and spacers has convinced me otherwise - looks spot on. Audi should have fitted that steering wheel as standard instead of the style they chose in my opinion, really suits the car.
