The order was placed on the 25 sept 21 at Harwoods at Crawley
To date that's the worst case scenario that I have heard of on here mate hopefully it'll improve as the year/years go on
I know it’s a joke , I’ve only been given one previous build week and now nearly another year to wait , they have definitely mucked you about with all those dates originally it would have been due next month
If your build does remain as it is it'll be a MY24 model and with a bit luck it'll come with some interior revisions a plus point for the wait
As my car is allegedly going to be complete and heading over in the next while (I'll believe it when I see it) I asked about the £500 discount for the loss of the 360 camera option. Rather interestingly, the broker came back to me saying that the dealership have stated they'll have to wait and see what it comes with before any discounts are applied. I doubt it, but part of me wonders if some of the cancelled features will start to randomly filter through like the wireless charging that appeared on another members car recently. Probably wishful thinking / the dealer not knowing what the scoop is.
I think Audi will never deliver and cancel orders placed at launch and ask you to re-order. I have lost count of how many build weeks I have had only to be told I don't have one now so yes it could be over two years for me as well.
You should have been informed or your broker should have been informed about the deletion/price decrease as this took place roughly about mid/end of September i was informed of this a week or so after l ordered start of October

I saw a post on one of the Facebook RS3 groups from a guy in South Africa this week who ordered a Tango Red RS3 at the end of January. It’s built, shipped and arrived in the country. Audi most definitely not playing with a straight deck.
Definitely something not right , lol maybe payback for brexit , it’s going to take a lot for me to ever order new from Audi again , they should treat there customers better !

I've bought my X5 40d new in 2010 and it's a car that we will replace in a few years time. And because I keep my cars I tend to go heavy on the spec. But reading about some of the experiences of you guys/gals here really puts me off dealing with Audi on something like an RSQ8. I can see why brokers do so well with them.
I was in same posistion, I asked for price remaining and they had not removed it. I said to them why it wasn’t removed or if the 360 cam had been specced (knowing it fine wasn’t). Never expected much and they just replied, “that’s it updated and the £500 removed”
yes great the done that but we’re they just hoping I’d not notice or know about this and bag themselfs a free £500??
wonder how many other dealers have done this!

Yeah, it's not great that the customer has to know about the price reduction and prompt the dealer.
I was more just hopeful that the 360 cameras might somehow make an appearance given a wireless charger appeared on a members car if I remember rightly.
Possibly, the dealers and Audi UK are hoping no one will query and have forgotten what they ordered.

In a bizarre twist, received an email this morning that not only has my car been built, its at the dealer and is ready for delivery as soon as 1st Sept. Registered already as a 72 plate, which is nice.
Terrible comms is not a surprise, i even emailed Audi a few weeks ago and they told me there was no news on the car which turns out to have been complete ********.
Anyway, car is here and will be delivered on 1st.

That's awesome news! I'm hoping that mine has actually appeared too since we both ordered Vorsprungs around the same time with Lincoln Audi (although I was through a broker), but I'm not holding my breath. Congrats for yours actually appearing though, you must be excited for collection.
Mine was through military broker via Lincoln Audi, so it’s the broker that’s been the blocker when trying to get news on the car.
Good new, your car is now at the dealers. Hope a few more members who placed their order for Vorsprung when the books opened gets flushed out.
Mine was through MSC as well actually. Fingers crossed that it's landed and they haven't told me yet.
I messaged asking for the plastic protection to be left on for transport to me and the plates to be left off, so hopefully that'll spur some sort of communication with the dealer and I'll also get a positive update.

Never say Never l spoke with my sales guy a few months ago....and l asked the question could Audi cancel my order......he said not likely but they do reserve the right to cancel if the production run of the car ends....the RS3 8Y and previous RS3's models have all had a certain amount of production time/run....then nowt for about 9/10 months then it receives a facelift normally after the A3's are face lifted
I’ve had three Golf’s from Hereford and all has been good until the last one where they (in my opinion) washed it with a Brillo pad! Dave in parts has always been great at getting parts and keeping me informed as to status etc.
70 plate yes so if it follows the 8V pattern then facelift 2023 as the 8V was 2013 then FL in 2016 for the standard car, the FL RS came in 17.
Could be the same this time too, especially as they are so behind with orders.

@K44WMY is in build so may be in luck to collect in September as well.
Few BW shuffling for Vorsprungs and Carbon,
strangely, @boardlord's Standard spec is also drifting to the right, as the Standard spec previously used to squeeze early through the stack.
Few weeks ago, read that order books for RS3 is being closed, possibly for the FL version in 2023, so what are the chances of RS3s scheduled for BW in late 2023 joining the FL A3's if the internals are the same.
Anyhow..
