Been looking at these recently and tempted to swap my 8y for one. M3 is around 20k on top. Anyone have any experience of the xdrive m3?

Not had enough of it as such, getting abit inpatient about the ecu still being locked.
Obviously the m3 is more expensive and options like carbon buckets are making me look at them.

Not just for the speed, for the noise mainly.How fast do you want it to be they are rapid out of the box

I had a 2019 M5 that was 4WD switchable to RWD although you would be insane to try that in the M5 imho - they start up in RWD and only bring in the front if it detects slip etc. Couldn't fault it.

Have to be honest and say that even with all the ****** filters I prefer the noise of the RS3 over the M3. Obviously two different categories of cars although these days are widely compared to each other...that says a lot for the RS3.

I'm tempted to go with infinites opf bypass to make the rs3 sound better but I've been holding off for another company to unlock the ecu
Holding off for another company is in you’d rather just use them or that you know they’re genuinely close to unlocking it?

I would rather use a more reputable company such as mrc. I've been in contact with them they say "it's in development"
Infinite are wanting around £2k for the OPF delete because of the OPF simulator they've developed which is a bit much for my liking.
Yeah I messaged MRC a while back and said they were working on it. I’m sure they all are but be interested to know how genuinely close they are if at all.
Also super interested to know if HGP in Germany have actually cracked it given that they’ve advertising stage 1,2 and 3 or if it’s an ECU swap to an 8v!

Will only be categorised if its an insurance write off. If the car was not insured or was repaired instead of being written off it won't attract a category.
