A3 8Y air intake

Has anyone tried fitting an air intake into your a3 8y? I ordered a set of air intake and blow off valve from Forge and the mechanic told me the battery in my car is too long so they can't put in the heat shield. Also the blow off valve has some issue too apparently. I have a 1.5 35 TFSI. Any luck guys?

Friend above is right tho about the dust compared with closed air intake
On road test temperatures was more than fine and no heatshield or something but left the bottom part of closed air intake for extra air

Is it possible for your mechanic to make a same one and ship it?
