A3/S3 delivery lead time?

I ordered an S3 Vorsprung at the end of November 21. I was told they had an order scheduled for build week 12 in the new year and that that could be allocated to me. After ordering I was given a build week of 34! Looked on various websites and have seen some advising that 27 weeks is the average time waiting for an S3 and that the S3 is less affected by the chip shortage than some other models. We will wait and see!
That seems ok my a3 edition 1 goes in to next week fingers crossedI think it's been previously mentioned that it takes around 2, maybe 3 weeks from port to dealer. Mine is at the port waiting
Finally had some news about my order since ordering December 2021. I have an unconfirmed build week 24 which is w/c June 13th. Leaser estimates delivery in August. Would you say this is accurate as August seems like a long wait if the car is being built mid June. What's it been like for everyone else here?
Sounds about right .. Mine was built in Week 11, it was only released from the factory late last week (18), so was almost eight weeks there, and is now in port, so another 2/3 weeks before the dealer gets it for onward delivery to me. So similar timeframe.

Very similar to my spec, but with storage pack in lieu of the y-spokes. Ordered through Arnold Clark (pch) on 3 June. Was b/w 11 but then informed it hadn't been released. Hopefully mine is en route to the dealer.
Just chased Listers (company car provider) for an update as my original build week was wk 17 (ordered very early sept 21). Build week was then pushed back to week 37. Latest update today is its been brought forward to wk 34. Still a minimum of 13 months from ordering to being received.
So I got an update on my Audi today and it’s got worse (didn’t think it was possible )
Ordered an A3 S Line, Daytona grey, comfort pack, interior lighting pack, high beam assist and 18" x 8.0J '5-Y-spoke style' diamond cut wheels (nothing too fancy). Order was placed in March 2021 with an estimated Delivery of Jun 2021.
Following repeated delays I finally got an unconfirmed build date at the beginning of this year. However this has now been pushed back repeatedly as well:
Week 20 (16 May 2022) - Pushed back
Week 22 (30 May 2022) - Pushed back
Week 26 (27 Jun 2022)
I’m now wondering if my car is ever going to be delivered. If that build week doesn’t change again (which I have zero confidence about) then i’m looking at about 18 months from order to delivery.
Has anyone ever heard of Audi failing to deliver a car which has been ordered? Beginning to wonder if I will ever receive this car.
What I find really frustrating is that there have been multiple people who have ordered cars well after me who have already received their cars. I can’t work out why mine hasn’t been built and how Audi are prioritising their orders.
This has been my first Audi and will also be my last. If I could find a suitable alternative which could be delivered I’d cancel and walk away from this shambles of a company.

That is a surprisingly long wait. Most people I’ve seen posting on here wait between 10 to 14 months.
I think more recently, the lockdowns in Beijing and Singapore coupled with the war in Ukraine have impacted Audi (and others). Have you tried bypassing your dealer and speaking directly to Audi?
Audi UK won’t provide updates when you call.
So, I have now raised a complaint with Audi UK and have emailed the director as well.
Yes it had everything, all the assistance packages. The wireless phone and usb to rear was all that was missing. You can even open the rear boot by kicking the rear bumper (sort of). I think the rear cross traffic is for when your pulling out of car parking spaces and you can’t see? It’s really useful.
Mine is now in Status 40 at Grimsby UK Port. So it's in the right country now! Dealer says about 7/10 days and can then arrange delivery. I've already been given my Registration Number, so almost here!
At last my 8Y A3 35TFSI STronic with Comfort and Sound is being delivered on 1st June 2022. Exactly 12 mounts since the order was placed.

I finally have a confirmed build week. Only took 12 months to get one.
Build week is w/c 23 May. Presuming it does actually get built that week, I might have a car by mid-July. Only 15 months after ordering although this seems to be the norm at present for early 2021 orders.
Fingers crossed people…

That's very quick .....l ordered a RS3 Vorsprung in September 21 won't be here this year actually may not even be built this year as its got a unconfirmed build week of 49 .....
I ordered June 16, 2021 and it was built on May 5th this year

Jammy sod!!!! Good work though. It is going to be a minimum 14 months from order to taking delivery for me.
They told me at least 12 months , theit still waiting for orders from July last year ?
