Audi A3 Edition 1 1.5.... car is late 2020.
After 3k I needed to take the car in for a service, I was told the car also needed two parts replacing....lane assist and service module.
I was told the car was ready to pick up after 7 days......its 30 miles to the Audi dealer......got there and some of the cars systems were not working, satnav, drive select and probably some others...I went inside and stated the car was not working properly, the rep drove the car to the workshop, 10 mins later they came back and stated the car had to go back in for a reboot and I would need to get it the next day....drove home in a borrowed car 30 miles home with no car.
got the car back and the mmi seemed to be sluggish, they stated they had updated the software for it.....I checked the mmi information and it was the same software as before....I took a screenshot of it before they took the car in....same ver numbers......now after a month I have lost my sat nav map....all I have is the basic map, the sat maps are not there, further more the tab to change it from basic to sat is not there in the settings!!!!....phoned Audi and they said bring it in!!......I know the car updates remotely, but to be honest I would rather they left the car alone....they just make it worse......not happy.......anyone else had these issues......also the sat nav never managed to store my favorites....I added around 30 address`s, got back in the car and they are all gone....that has happened since I got the car....again useless from Audi as most other cheaper cars do not have these issues....any ideas?

Can't help directly but I've seen a post recently about a software update causing issues. May be worth doing a search. I'm sure he had a rollback done.

1 of the early updates if I remember right sent the car back into transport mode (like when it's delivered to the dealer) and they are supposed to run another update which brings the sat nav back correctly - Stored addresses you might lose because it goes back to factory settings - The SOS update that is available now does the same thing, so I would make sure it's on the correct version before you add everything back in

3620 is the latest version - well it is on my November 2020 S3 and I've had the SOS with reversing camera update done now - There is a link for latest software as well and 3691 appears to be the latest for new builds anyway

You're going to really need to speak to the dealer again I'm afraid

Not sure about a link to software, where did you see this?....... The dealer told me that updates were chassis based, so many of the software versions will be different for each model!... The satnav image was fine for a month, now its gone, along with the tab to change it to sat images.....crazy!
Not sure why Audi are messing about with customers, I doubt I will go back to them in the future as the customer service is crap....this car was sent out for sale with many problems, how about fixing them!!?

Sorry it's on here this morning - Heading latest software - People just advising what they have

You are correct a lot of it is chassis based, but the Sat Nav reset issue was when one of the first MMI updates were done last year - Mine was done in October at first service - You can see what's been done under My audi - Service and then digital service schedule - These 4 were quite common for all models I think
