Jassy's Blue Audi TTS Adventure

I don't care mate l have'nt signed the finance agreement and I'll live with losing a grand

Doubt you will lose your deposit. They failed to deliver in time. Would argue that with bank/credit card company and get your money back if they try to be a pain.
In my experience Audi isn’t the quickest for a factory order. I waited over 9 months for one was meant to be a 3 month wait. there was one thing after another so now I try to get a stock car as close to what I want. Nothing worse than losing that “I’m getting a new car” buzz.

@&£“in hell mate - logged on tonight hoping for a few pics of the new motor on yer drive. Seriously cancelling the order, or just got a rage on? Is it worth putting your patience pants on and waiting a bit longer having come this far, or is it still looking like months before delivery? Feel your pain pal. Not liking your last 2 posts, thumbs down.

So having been mislead by Audi's weekly delivery updates if my car is still at status 38 this Monday ie 6 weeks/going on 7 weeks awaiting a ship am going to cancel my order and do without my own car for a considerable amount of time unless l get lucky ie l come across a new in stock car ,I've looked at ordering a TTRS Sport Ed with a good few options but I've been quoted a 9 months delivery time
In stock TTRS cars aren't to my spec or colour l think country wide there is only a handful available...

What a nightmare, is the dealer not offering any incentives for you to stick with it?

Surely it's up to Audi to provide you with a courtesy car in this situation ? And not some entry-level A1 either. .

*** how hard can it be, the only thing that stopped shipping was that Evergreen saga.

If they have not agreed with yourself for an extended delivery then you are entitled to deposit refund (it's in most order form T&C's). TBF it sounds a great spec and I'd maybe wait a little longer.

Cant believe how few new TTRS are currently available - when I got mine June last year there were around a dozen to choose from and dealer was happy to offer a further discount to close the sale. When I traded it had sold within 3 days of being advertised x amazing how quickly things have changed.

Would you consider a used car or does it have to b3 brand new?

It really suits that green, but the blue interior bits are an odd choice and they just clash

It's a shame Audi ain't what it use to be. I've owned Audi's since 2005 and I think things started going down hill with quality and basic kit from the facelift 8v..As soon as they got rid of the 'S' emblem on the S3 I thought ''Here we go'' lol
Anyways I'm sure people love their new cars and quite rightly so, just a shame that in the world we live in today greed seems to be more of a driving force for car manufacturers than quality.
If you can afford the TTRS then go for it mate...but if it's going to 'f**k' your finances then I think it's not worth it.:superman:

Got a call last week in work "Just wondering what you will be doing with your car when your current deal ends?"...told them that it ended in 6 months ago and I bought the car! They then said do you need it booked in for a service then? Told them to go away :)

Had a good chat about current business with the assistant who was dealing with me - he said that current demand was very very strong but they were struggling with getting new stock in - lots of stuff on 6 months lead time. Many customers therefore now looking at nearly new as an alternative but supplies of these were down too due to less new ones going out of the door and consequently they were now buying in stock. Forecourt was definitely looking a bit threadbare!

No problem - good to be able to help. If you see anything near here you like always willing to have a closer look for you - always good to have an excuse to look at nice cars.

Sounds like you got a good deal on the Vorsprung - whilst it’s a pita having to wait longer it will be worth it once it arrives

Silly price this Nogaro edition its basically not even a sport edition Jordan pointed this one out to me as he's back working for Glasgow Audi on the used car side, no carbon inlays and l dont like alcantara seats mate besides you'd be better buying a TTRS Vorsprung model and more importantly at £61995 after discount it's not worth it
l dont think the TTS/TTRS benefits from a exclusive paint as they are scarce on the roads well around our way they are....
Av been on the German approved Audi website and they're are dozens of gorgeously optioned TTS/TTRS models some with exclusive leather interiors and they are cheaper in Germany than they are in rip off Britian

Got to resign myself to the inevitable the waiting game Ye never know l may get some good news on Mondays update from Grimsby Audi
Got a quote for a single transporter from Grimsby Audi to my home £320 bangers fine by me as l aint going down there l can only get a flight to Leeds then its another 100 miles to Grimsby

The best discounts for any TTRS Sport Ed/Vorsprung at the moment is from coast2coast cars and the dealership is in Wales between £6700 /£7100 as l have said before back in January when l ordered both drivethedeal and coast2coast had no discounts on the TTRS
For my point of view my next car is my last on a PCP hence av been chucking money at it mate and want the best l can get/afford max deposit is between £10k TTS and £14k TTRS av spent £5k on bits and bobs for it already l dont like high monthly payments
