A6 c6 auto gear knob upgrade

Hi, has anyone updated the auto gear knob on a c6? Ive ordered one from ebay that came off an audi a5 apparently and now I'm having second thoughts whether it's going to fit or not?

I changed it for one on Ali Express. Sounds cringe but its actually very good quality and oem looking

I looked through Ali express and they were all for lhd cars. I bought a second hand one, are they all the same fit for a4 a5 a6 etc?

I’ve seen people change to the new version that’s in the A7 with the button on the side still. But the round auto knob you need to heat up and twist to use the button on the front if that makes sense. Post pic of the new one bought.

I bought one with the side button, from an a5.

Why do you have second thoughts? Installation is super easy, it is plug and play, it takes just couple of minutes and look and feel of this knob is much better and looks so much modern. Don't hesitate

That does look far better. Are all the gear knobs the same from the a4 and a5 etc? The one I ordered was from an a5

Idk, I ordered one from AliEx. The quality is superb, OEM like

I put a BFI knob on mine at first, but wound up swapping for the upgraded ali express one earlier posted but this is also an option.

I used an eBay one. Wired a treat.
