So, been wanting to retrofit this for some time now, I bought the Osram dynamic wing mirror indicators last October, and OEM carbon fiber covers for side assist, and I finally got some time to install it, actually it was 3 weeks ago..

What go you think of quality and fit of the indicators? I ask because I bought from Ali express last year and whilst they are ok the indicator which you see inside the mirror housing is very faint compared to OEM. I can hardly see it in daylight hours. If these are similar to OEM I would buy a set. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, I think that this Osram set is the next best thing you can buy, bearing in mind there is no OEM dynamic wing mirror indicators. I can post a photo or upload a link to a video, but the indicators are not faint compared to OEM LED indicators in the daylight. The Osram set is a bit pricey, but it's worth it, It cost me 200EUR for the set, but you'll have no issues during fitment neither with the faint in daytime.

No worries , thanks. Mine are bright enough but the little piece that you see from inside the car is not. It is that little square I was wondering about before I purchase. Tks.

Just so you know, you have 2 variations, the black version and the white version. I went for the white OEM style version, but if you have a black car, or black pack, or blackish mirror covers..I don't know.

I have 3 sets off Aliexpress. The black ones look the best, but the square does illuminate at all. Can anyone confirm that the OSRAM ones in black do shine though?

The clean and the gray versions work perfectly though. Can't fault them for less than £20.

I have same ones as you. They look great but little square inside mirror is very faint which I don't like. I have ordered osram ones in black edition. Will feed back here when I install.

Do let us know if the black OSRAM have a visible inner light. I'd switch over just for that, as I feel it's safer when merging into traffic to have an aditional signal there. Didn't like the white or gray ones enough to keep them on. The gray alixpress ones are a bit slow (out of sync) and cheaper looking.

Well I got the osram ones. Removed the AliExpress and tried to fit them. With the actual unit clipped in to place I refitted the gloss black mirror cover ok but as much as I tried i could not get the front frame clipped in to place because the inner repeater flange would not sit neatly into the hole in the frame. No matter what I did I could not get it to sit correctly. Two hours later with two broken clips on the housing I gave up. But before I removed the unit I tested the brightness and, to my disappointment, it was no brighter than AliExpress. I then put my two AliExpress back on the car and will be returning the Osrams.
Actually, I prefer the light on the former. It's one continuous line of orange much like the headlight dynamic indicator. The osram has little lines within the lens that are evident during operation.
I will try to upload a few pics. On the first I compare the osram to OEM repeater flange (Osram on top). You can clearly see a wider gap between housing and side repeater on OEM and that was my problem during fitting. Second pic shows Osram unit with the fitted Aliexpress unit below. I'm staying with AliExpress which does show light on the inner flange but not as much as OEM.

Yesterday I installed the Osram "black edition" dynamic indicators and OEM carbon covers to my wing mirrors. Well happy with how it looks! Haven't compared against other brand dynamic indicators like above but compared to the standard fit indicators its a definite win. Also means I've gotten rid of the random silver touches in the wing mirrors now! Just to black out the badges to go for the full black edition mode ;)
