Just in case anyone is wondering, you can still fit the audi OOOO puddle lights onto the new facelift (atleast on the A5) cars. Was an absolute pain to take the lights out (even managed to slightly crack the plastic case but eventually, and after a lot of force I was able to get them out. Think they look great!

I bought OEM ones for £95 off amazon UK but managed to find some sellers on ebay that have it for half of that, so will be returning these soon to save some money.

Yes you can. I put my A5 B9 accessory onto my B9.5. They also fit the B9 and B9.5 A4,

I'd imagine they do also fit the rest of the Audi range to keep production costs low with it being a very cheap cost-base to manufacture.

The £95 you paid on Amazon was very high.

Despite Audi having a £100+ price tag on this accessory, I bought mine last October for £66 for my A4 and for the same amount back in September 2018 from Crewe Audi. Speak to Tom Fox in its parts department. Crewe Audi is also on this forum where it offers discounted accessories from time to time, Tom may have stock at that price at the moment.

B9 has different connector to the b8.5 some sellers sell the old type with a couple of wires to connect
I fitted these and red door warning lights at same time

How did you find fitting the red warning lights?

5mins easy.
Made my own loom, the one in pic. Remove red reflector and puddle light feed loom from reflector to puddle and plug in.
So you've made a sort of 2 in 1 connector? Mind giving me a quick rundown on how you made this and what kit you used? Thanks!

You have to use old style red lights as you cant get red lens led light for new sockets. You could use clear puddle lights and replace led with red. I did think about it but decided to go with red door light.

For anyone who is interested we supply a piggy back kit which comes with harnesses and red warning lights which are plug and play.

Prices start from £40 a pair.

We also currently have some genuine Audi logo projector puddle lights for £50 a pair.

Highly recommend Robin’s kits. Used one to retrofit warning/puddle lights and footwell lights in my A3.

Really well made and was pretty easy to fit.

I’d echo that - just fitted a set of the Red warning lights to my S5. Great quality backed up by a first class service from Robin. The red lights are really bright too

Do we need to take the door trim off ?
on the first door after trying for an about an hour without success to just thread it through I popped the fasteners along the bottom and side of the trim below red light which allowed me push the cable in

once I had worked this out the second door took less than 10 mins to do
