All new S3

What's with Miltek having ridiculous sized tailpipes these days? The pipes on the above video and similar Golf R's just look stupid.

Must admit though, IMO it looks sweet in the red/black look and I like the rear lights.

As does every Red fully loaded Audi mate and Tango Red doesn't look as bold nor as vibrant as the photo you posted

The sliver trim isn’t helping that one either, needs the black trim. Very annoying that Audi don’t make it available straight away.

Yup, originally wanted tango red, but the silver trim doesn’t work IMO so ended up with Navarra blue which works well with silver trim IMO.

Wow the interior plastic looks awful!

Shiny black plastic crap, especially the centre console with the gear selector!

Can’t believe the S3 comes with such bland wheels either, wouldn’t even expect something that ugly on an S-Line.

Glad I didn’t wait for this ****

£50k for an S3.......you would have to be barking mad.

Wow - Exclusive paint included in that as not many options left to add on the Vorsprung

It's jumped up in price by nearly £2k in the last 3 and a bit years my cars RRP was almost £48k but l got a £5800 discount and a APR of 4-6%

I was holding out for the S3 Vorsprung to replace my troublesome A6 as I loved the 2018 S3 that I replaced with the A6 last year. However I had a BMW M235i Grand Coupe delivered today as I got a good deal and only 2.9% finance. It’s an amazing car and initial impressions are it beats my old S3, also spec wise not too far way from the Vorsprung S3 and nearly £8k cheaper!

Just taken delivery of new S3 and love it... apart from how quiet it is even in dynamic mode. Considering res delete, but unsure how i stand with warranty...

Blimey, that’s a fair discount. TT interior is a lot nicer place to be than the 8V and definitely the 8Y. For that kind of money would it be worth considering the full fat RS?

I know it’s not your colour but the engine must be tempting.

It’s not about the RRP, as stated large discount available on the TTS that won’t be offered on an RS model. At £54k a TTS is madness, but at £46k it actually looks like a nice package.

no idea what the interior is like but exterior does look smart granted ... BUT ... can’t see me ever wanting a Pug - just not a brand that interests me at all

Yeah I acknowledged the discount, the RS I linked to was 2nd hand but similar price.

I had a MK3 TT, actually preferred it to the S3 even though it was a diesel. Either in TTS or TTRS it will be one hell of a car and still looks as fresh as when it was released.

if you could sort your own finance it might be worth a look, as the sellers rate is way too high. With it being almost 2 years old warranty running out in a year would also concern me. Nice mileage for the age

Agree, plenty of low % loans available now and with an engine like that I would consider an extended warranty for sure.

These silly prices are really putting me off brand new cars at the moment. Still no idea what I’m going to get next.

Me neither, I did go through a phase of wanting to change mine a few months ago. I came close to changing to an M2 competition twice as the deals on then were great, I still regret not getting one to a certain extent.

My TCR is only 18 months old, and I’ve had no issues with it and I still enjoy driving it. I may just hang on to it for another 18 months unless a deal too good to pass on comes up.

To be honest I would rather spend money on holidays (when we can travel again) rather than on a deposit for a car that I don’t really need.

Car money is going on house improvements at the moment, not been into the office since March now, sold the RF in the summer as wasn’t being driven

I’m leaning to a 4x4 as we live in the countryside, possibly a Q5 or a Volvo XC40/60.

Really like the TCR’s, wouldn’t swap that for the latest VW Group offerings.

Been working from home myself since March, unlikely to ever be in the office more than 2 days a week even when we return to some form of normality. Another reason why a new car wasn’t the most sensible idea, probably covered about 2k miles since last March.

I’ve run out of home improvements :grinning: about the only thing left that I need is a new shed.

Agree with you both ... if I’d known all this covid stuff was coming I might not have got my A45 as it’s just not getting enough use.
That’s where something like a Golf club spot could provide a nice balance of car enjoyment vs £ outlay. Putting £ into the house / holidays / savings becoming my preference also.
