Hi I have an 07 A4 1.9 tdi sline currently standard at 115bhp but I was considering gettin an economy map to help fuel consumption. Has anyone done this before? Also can anyone else view their cars mpg? The buttons on my steering wheel just say no function.

If its an economy map and higher mpg your just primarily after then its probably a bad investment spending north of £300 for a map to save on fuel it would probably take a very very long time to start seeing any profit from the extra mpg gained from the £300+ spent in the first place.

Just something to take into consideration.

Most stage 1 remaps can be had for about £150, for a 2.0tdi atleast.
All my local remapping places or at least ones with a decent reputation all charge £300 and up we must be getting mugged off in Gloucester, well unless you use the mobile remap guy in a van from facebook marketplace lol, saying that though rtech, msl, mrc and revo are all upwards of £350 for a stage 1, i dont get how the diesel will be any different in price only effects price with stages most of the time, like anything though theres always a cheaper option just pay for what you get i guess.

I had mine done by a guy called Peter, the boss of Re-map UK. Sat in the car with him whilst he did it, and he talked me through it.
I didn't get it rolling roaded, but on the test run the difference in pull was amazing. It was shown to be 176bhp, but maybe mine was down on power before hand. He also deleted my EGR. EML warning light.
I had a tuning box on previously and the really is no comparison.
