Yet another RS3 badge question..

So, eventually got a dry day today to get round to fitting the gloss black badges I got from Crewe Audi (seen them mentioned in here a few times).

I’ve opened them up and the badge for the front of the car is missing the bracket/fitting to clip into once fitted and as I didn’t de badge the car I don’t have the original badge or fitting. Should this not come with the badge? Like what’s the point in selling half of the badge essentially? If I can’t fit it then it’s utterly useless, but I didn’t know about the ‘back’ part of the badge to clip into nor did I expect they wouldn’t include everything that’s needed when selling. Thought I was safe ordering direct from Audi but I guess not!

Anyone know where that clip part can be bought? I’ve message Crewe Audi but whether I get a response that helps is another question.. here I was thinking trying to fit the rear RS3 badge would be the hard part

The existing badge has a retaining clip on the back that you use on the new badge.

Lol just realised you don’t have it anyway so you’ll need to contact Crewe Audi to sort you one out

Yeah mate that’s my problem, I didn’t debadge it and don’t have the original so I’m stuck. Obviously I didn’t know this beforehand (my first Audi let alone RS3) but whether they’ll sort me something out is a different question.

For the sake of what it is and the price you pay for them you’d think it would come with the badge..

As brilliant as this place is it can make you feel really thick at times when people have all the answer seemingly incredibly easily

I hope so, it’s my first Audi so that doesn’t help I guess, I always study the forums hard though best place for knowledge imo. I did the same when I got the GTR and then again when I got a (whispers it) BMW 135i and it helped me no end then. This place has already done that and then some

Yeah mate much appreciated I actually thought the Royal Mail had lost it because it took just over two weeks to come but it did, got it fitted on within five minutes! Thanks again
