I'm one of those people that, even though I have keyless entry, have my keys in my hand when getting in the car.

Once in the car, I throw my keys in the cup holder or door to rattle around while I drive.

Where does everyone else stash their keys?

Just bung them on the passenger seat if free, or in the centre console.

I don't know why you would take your keys out of your bag/pocket with keyless?
I just leave them in my pocket at all times, to me that seems the safest way both when getting in and whilst driving!

Maybe i'm just old (33) but it is habit at this point as every other car i've had needed the key. Also my car keys are with LOADs of other keys and they're bulky in the pocket. Maybe I should trim down my key quantity!

I don't get how everyone doesn't find this annoying!

Car key on its own with the exception of an Audi keyring, house keys separate. Car key always in my pocket with keyless and in a faraday bag as soon as I get home.

I have car keys, a set of keys for my place, my mums incase the crazy old cow falls over, office keys (2 sets, one for each floor), postbox keys and various RFID tags. It's like i'm walking round with a ball of chainmail in my pocket.

Based on the puzzled looks in this thread, i'm starting a new, turning over a new leaf. I've taken the keys I don't need every day off and i'll leave those at home. While the anxiety this will leave me with, heading out in to the cold world without all the keys I need, will likely fade ... I'll need to be strong until then. I'll be brave. I'll try.

But when one day i'm far away from home and my crazy old mum falls over breaking in to my office and I don't have the keys, when she dies because it took me an extra 30 minutes to get to the office. I'll post the photos of the corpse here.

Don't have keyless entry but have a start/stop button so once i've opened the door with the remote it's back in my pocket.

I used to do this, then I had my car keys stolen and I ended up having to change the locks on the house, the side gate, the shed and my parents house too. Now they're separate.

............my car key is the only one on my key ring. 1 House key works all the door locks but still kept separate.
