The stair was actually open and i got it so my wee boy of 1 couldn’t take a nose dive from the top of the stairs.

He has had a go on it tonight and 1st of all gave it a kiss and started making faces through it and knocking on the glass.

Looks great.
Just don't forget glass is there. Someone could end up with cuts

You may want to put some nice thick foam pipe insulation down the vertical edge whilst he's small as it's the sort of edge a youngster would run or trip head first into :flushed:

Does look good, but hand prints was my first thought too lol.
We have a window in the toy room that is about 300mm off the floor, my 4yr old sits on the cill all the time looking out. Glass needs cleaned all the time.

Good luck OP

What's £166 compared to your little one's safety, any way why have you got two staircases ? LOL

Its unlikely that you are going to run into the edge as the orientation of the stairs.

Will most likely put an end post on it but think it might not look very pleasing with it.

Don’t know if the Mercedes wallpaper belongs on an Audi forum though!

It's a great idea but i think it is an accident just waiting to happen to be honest, especially with the exposed vertical glass edge...good work all the same.

It’s 10mm toughened safety glass but yeah it also gives me the fear :scared2:

Looks mega mate was thinking of doing this
Style with our staircase but as above I think the hand prints would drive me round the bed haha would have to be constantly carrying a micro fibre cloth
