Well, what can I say. Somebody -get this- TOTALLED my gorgeous Red Crimson Pearl 5 year old CIVIC EX in a parking lot. I was saving up for our 3rd Audi. And BAM!! Decision made.

My wife has a 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid (probably foreign to you EU guys) So I got "Lucky" and managed to snag another Audi - PHEV and all. So the adventure begins. I know it's close to 5 years old, but that may be half the fun. Nobody knows diddle squat about the engine guts, but there is so much stuff about the infotainment system. It's an "UTRA" which means base and has special wheels (16") and tires to give it better gas mileage. But, in the typical Canadian fashion, it was upgraded to 17" wheels and stupid Continental tires and added the "A3 Navigation +" package! Which, of course, doesn't include backup camera, or sensors.

In any event, I would like to add stuff. I've added rear sensors and I'm leaning towards carsgadget.com cause I would like front and rear Cameras. CCD seems better than CMOS.

For the technically inclined (for the MMI stuff) It is an MIB HIGH MMS with no SIM. I see some WIFI Stuff but of course, no internet connection. I know it is MIB High cause I was able to get to the Engineering Menu (Thanks to you and some google searches) As a new guy in NA, I understand this might be over looked, I am adding a photo of the car, but I'm going to try and add some of the official stuff from Audi that I was able to find. One of them relates to MMI MIB1 - Entry, Standard and High.

You'd be surprised by what's available at NHTSA. Well, some might. I certainly was!

Cheers
Ted

I'll download those files when I can figure out how to make them smaller.. You might now, but it's late hear and I don't want to give universal access to my Google Drive...

Great little car only got rid of mine at 76k because major services cost twice the price of a normal petrol engine! Reason audi gave was they had to employ a HV technicians to deal with the batteries!! ( I come from a locomotive Kv voltage now that is high voltage! and we never had problems)
The AC motor and batteries should be able to give stellar mileages though

I totally understand. In typical Audi fashion, they've managed to overcomplicate (and overprice) everything. I am very lucky in that the Service Manager at my local dealer is pretty decent. My suggestion to your dealership (!) would be to hire someone familiar with High Voltage systems. I wonder who that might be? :D

Thanks. Quick question - before I try and fail - is there a way to upload pdf files and/or links?

Cheers
