Happy I found his channel. Watched a lot of his videos before I went for my RS3. Kind of glad I have someone to watch so I can see what mods are worth while. Going to try buy a cete active valve control after watching his previous video.

Saw this! Unsure if it’s anything to do with the insta page “Boycott infinit” which TR Hamza follows also. Seems a bit of a coincidence. He says his car was at MRC for 2 weeks also. Verrrrrrry interesting. Wonder if anything was wrong with his car?! Sure he’s a member on here

Personally think stage 1 is best bang for buck, but a stage 2 with IC and DP would be mega!

Interesting read that Instagram page. Always thought infinit where top notch. This is pretty eye opening considering the amount people are paying for a tune from there. Would be good to hear why hamza went for a MRC tune overall. I’m pretty sure he went back to infinit after his stage 2+ tune to get the overrun turned down. Maybe there’s more to this?

If you type in Instagram “boycott.infinit.performance” it comes up. Well worth the read

It’s unreal if it true. I mean if his mates removing the map lol, says it all surely? Lucky if the map was on the car for a month. What does TR Hamza know you wonder. Like why get your car mapped by someone that has no experience in it? Like none lol. Each to their own and all that

A fine way to top Hamza up to 100k subs! This is causing quite a bit of discussion in various places... mostly hate towards Aoon and Infinite which I think is a bit unfair. Hamza will have his reasons even if his explanation was very vague in the video but as always with tuning, it seems to bring out some right drama queens. I hope the change brings some content as mentioned as it is always interesting to see how these places operate and how things are done.

He doesn’t help himself though does he. He’s posted on here a few times and he’s always come across as a tool. Go look at his insta page, how to be immature about the situation. Money can’t buy class as they

Was told a few weeks ago that he’d had a major problem occur as a result of the tune and was asked to keep it quiet if they fixed it. I didn’t know (and still not sure) if this was true so I’ve been watching his YouTube page closely to see if there was any videos on his car, and nothing for a month which I thought was odd. I also thought that if he wants to earn a reputation as a serious car reviewer then he needs to tell the whole story on his experience.
To end up at MRC says it all for me...

Looks like Aoons been to the police station to complain and attempt to press charges for “cyber bullying and slander” against the individual behind the Boycott Infinit insta page. Surely if the lad/las who runs that has genuine and accurate info from disgruntled owners surely it’s not slander? All unbelievably interesting, surely can’t be good for his brand all this negativity, hence why he’s maybe looking to take this further. Blowing up all over social media due to TR Hamza

He’s posted on Instagram today a vague post about it. I’ve said if it’s all genuine then surely he and TR Hamza can do a joint post to confirm it all. I certainly don’t buy Hamza’s reasoning that MRC is just down the road... why get it done in the first place by Infinit? Also, if they are friends then he’s either been a bad friend or incredibly naive to not realise the stories this would create?

I would also say Hamza has a duty to report all the facts if he wants to be considered a reputable blogger and make it in that field of work. Either way, it all needs clarifying.

Hamza is an influencer - nothing more. He'll simply go to the place that gives him stuff for free (as they all do). Whether there was something wrong with the map/service from infinit is anyone's guess, but he's taken their money/free service for advertisement and he's unlikely to slag them off as it will hurt his future potential for freebies to make money off.

Youtube is simply a business, like any other. I'd do more research than youtube videos before I went to anywhere for something that might fubar my £40k+ car.

Can’t see anything? Are pages being removed?

Ah some have been removed but it was on the story, few others coming forward with issues/problems that didn’t want their names to be known maybe worried they’d get hit with slander lol. One was an RS3 stage 2. Looks like Aoon has blocked the page also.

Looks like the page has been taken down. Seems like beef between former mates. All this drama due to a video of a lad changing tuner. Mental! Hamzas view count will be though the roof lol. Coining it in this month ha.

Well I hope there's some substance here and not just a you tuber wanting exposure. This sort of negative vibe can really stuff a small business.

Thing is, surely this lad running that insta page wouldn’t risk being done for slander/bullying etc if there wasn’t any truth behind it? Could all be Chinese whispers for all we know, but there does appear to be a few individuals complaining on that insta page that is now no more.

Seems a hell of a spat between these 2. The way Aoon is acting on social media though is horrendous, now having deleted certain posts, its just far from professional or business like. He posted something about MRC/an employee then deleted it. I took a screen shot.

Have watched Hamza for a while but I doubt he'll get into the real reason or instigate drama over this especially when it's likely he would've got a large discount (or maybe even free) on the tune and hardware from Infinit to gain them some publicity.

In saying that I think it's very telling that his rs3 was in MRC's shop for 2 weeks and he would've forked out the normal price for the tune as I can't see MRC needing publicity and giving him any discounts when they're an already established and highly recommended shop in the tuning world...

This is a real shame man. I always like to see people doing well. But with all these negative whispers about Infinite its not looking to good.

I’m not sure I believe that is down to Infinit. I thought loads of safety’s were still built in. I mean come on, that’s pretty serious and looks more than just what a dodgy tune would cause?

Yeah people have to remember there is lots of stuff that goes on in the background of Youtubers lives that the public / viewer doesn’t see for one reason or another. Hamza might have paid for his tune at infinit or he may not have, if there’s then been issue with the car and he’s gone to get it rectified at MRC it’ll have been kept quiet due to sponsorship deals or pay offs etc I doubt he’s going to ever publicly slate them regardless. Besides why would he travel all the way to Scotland for a tune when he had a mate the whole time at MRC who could’ve done it, there lies your answer :tearsofjoy:

It’s been publicised recently and discussed on carthrottle’s podcast for instance about the growing number of Youtubers that are given cars for 6-12 months by manufacturers that they class as their ‘own cars’ which are then handed back later on. All part of sponsorship deals etc, don’t get me wrong if I was in that position I wouldn’t turn it down but a lot of viewers take things at face value and don’t understand it’s marketing / sales techniques especially the younger audiences. If someone says something is great on camera doesn’t mean it always is...

these cars are solid as well, supposed to be bullet proof, sadly this ones gone in excess of its limit!! There does appear to be far too many cars with problems according to what I’ve seen online, too many to think it’s maybe not a coincidence. Anyone’s guess as to what’s actually going on here. Could be the hardware, could be the tune, could be the driver...we’ll never know unless this lad pipes up. Amazed Infinit haven’t commented at all. Makes me think why?

**** me!!! Any more info on this? What’s in the comments? I don’t have Facebook which I assume this is on?
The post got deleted pretty quick, Aoon Did respond and has apparently paid for a private fire investigator to work out what has gone on with the punch line of the owner of the car having audi replace/ remove and refit the engine a couple of days prior to tuning. I think it is jumping a bit far to blame infinite for this immediately without proof but it has come at a bad time for sure.

Yeah I agree the timing does not look good for infinit. I hope it’s not their fault in a way and I’m by no means blaming infinit for this just a shame another rs3 is off the roads.

My advice is to get the car tuned by reputable tuners such as MRC, DMS, Evolve or QST, to name a few.

This may sound harsh but all of these new tuning houses don’t have the requisite knowledge, experience, intellect or know how to do this properly. Any idiot can plug in a computer to a car and install a map.

Insurance, always check that chosen “tuner” or workshop has Liability Insurance.

Seems a bit suspcious. I mean how can a tune fail and cause that much damage to the bonnet and windscreen.

Also what idiot tunes a 2 day old engine - i would let it bed in for about 1000 miles first. All the seals etc haven't had time to settle properly

Wondering where the blame lies, more than that who will cover the cost of the car replacement... which of the two parties or Insurance.. not a situation anyone wants to be in.

A "tune" would not cause this, unless it was asking "too much" of a component / part that failed as a result of operating outside of its deigned tolerance.
