So if I get the springs now will they fill the gaps like the 19's?
I just cant see 1cm making any difference right now with 16's, maybe I should measure 10mm tomorrow.

The place I am going to get my car mapped does H&R springs for 180.00 + Fitting, are they as good or betterthan Eibach?

Lol, did you read any of the posts?

It's not 1cm its 3cm lower than the Sport setup. Its 1cm/10-15mm over the S-Line setup.

The 19's dont fill the gap anymore or any less than any other wheel as the rolling radius is the same, but theres more metal instead of rubber so they look like they do. You 'close' the gap by lowering the car.

HR springs I think lower more and are harsher than Eibach Pro's but thats speculative as I've never used them. So many threads are on the forum about these already, lots of search hits to give you varied opinion/knowledge. I think HR are equivalent to Eibach Sport Lines (30mm drop), so youll end up with approx 60mm drop over what you have. Way to much for me without Magride, but many opt for them.

I just was not sure if the tyre and rims were all relative, so if a 16" and 19" are all relative, thanks for conf they are.
Yeah I have looked around and lots of people have said the H&R are quite a stiff ride.

Well thats another thing I will be looking to buy LOL

Wheels and stance are the main thing that makes a car just 'work' and give you the smiles when you see it everyday.

My feelings are, work on those aspects first if choosing the modify, the rest is just 'trimmings', and if you like big wheels as I do, buy a car with Magride first :)

Just spoke with Audi, the side skirts are on back order from germany 4-6 weeks, but guy said I can pay now and they will order them.

Guess how much...................................... £270.00 all primed up and ready to paint

How they hell are people charging nearly £100.00 for used damaged ones on ebay?

What they ask, and what items sell for are two very different things.

Use the 'Sold' items button on eBy, and you'll see the average price is around £60 for a used one.

The ones I seen are buy now, but yeah I get what you mean, they could ask £1000.00 for them, but wont sell for that.

Well the guy in Audi is selling me some metal pedals, obviously 3 for the manual for £45.00 and will buy the skirts and wait for them to be delivered.

At least they are brand new, primed and ready to paint.

I hopefully should be looking at £150.00 at the most for paint.

Looking at cars with side skirts and mine, I can say my bottom looks ugly, didnt realise how much it would bother me.

He is putting them on ebay tomorrow for me for the protection and will get them ordered, and the pedals will arrive next week some time.

£270 for both sideskirts or it that per side?

also remember you need the black plastic brackets that go between the sill and the sideskirt (same length as skirt) how much are they?

use this link as an example, on the left you have the skirt on the right you have the mounting bracket

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264953396154

£274.00 for the pair, oh he did not mention anything about mounting brackets, I thought they were attached by sticky tape?

Thats what he sent me, but did not mention the brackets.
I may give him a call tomorrow as messaging on ebay is a paid when your trying to have a conversation.

You're gonna be busy! Do the grill /bumper and diffuser at the same time I reckon.

Yeah you'll need the fitting kit for sure.

Will give him a bell and ask about the fitting kit.
If its OEM straight from Audi brand new, I am hoping it comes complete, but again its Audi.... You pay for everything LOL

I think your right, get everything done the same time, I dont want to be back and forth to my mate in Cardiff fitting bits.

Yeah my car never came with anything and looks terrible.
I emailed him back for the costs of sline and S3 skirt prices, but going to call him tommorrow for fitment advice as he did not mention brackets, but I did not tell him I did not have skirts to start with.
I have just a basic sport model, it was a ex lease so I guess they wanted to keep it as cheap as possible.

You can fit sline / rs3 skirts or those skirts. Whatever you desire.

i would imagine there will be a fitting kit required for those non sline ones

Mines also crying out for skirts, the sline bumper made a huge difference though

Mine has this weird bubbly texture type paint at the bottom, yours looks part of the body.
If mine looked yours I would not bother, but you can see the mounting arrows by each wheel and like I said, some weird paint texture all along the bottom line.

Or does yours have that weird bubble type texture along the bottom sill as well?
Cant really see, looks great from the pics though

I have had a look at the S-line and S3 skirts and they all look the same as the picture Audi sent me, if there is a difference it aint worth possibly paying double or a lot more than the non SLINE or S3
Even the RS3 dont really look much different than the picture Audi sent me for my Sport Model

RS3 is like an all over chuckier skirt.
Sline is like a 3/4 skirt that does lower half of sill
And the one you have posted has that jutting out bit mid-way down the skirt

They all have it, thats just stonechip protection. Pretty much every single car has it

Audi got back to me.
S3 skirts 274 each
RS3 are 374 each

Me thinks I'm going for the original 274 a pair lol.

Spoke with Audi for the last time LOL
Its actually a bonding kit that needs to be added for £30.00
He advised there is no mounting brackets on his Audi system for this part for the Audi A3 Sportback 2013 - 2020
So am buying for £300.00 all in, just need to get them painted and fitted.
Hope I can find a decent cheap painter now, as its a super easy job

Sounds good update with photo’s once installed

Will do, but if a 4-6 weeks back order is acurate, it wont be for a while.
Going to give the rear diffuser a miss for now, will only buy the grill and skirts as I am sure the painting will cost about £150.00, maybe a tad more, so thats £450.00 I was not expecting.

Its nice to have everything Audi, but for £100.00 I am not sure.
Yeah they kinda look like the RS3 ones

Feel bad for the Ebay audi guy as he has put in a lot of work speaking to me and putting the item on ebay for me.
At least I am still buying the 3 set Stainless steel pedals off him I guess.

If you gona spend so much money go for ABT look I show one here in Germany it was really nice

Have you got a link to the product so I can see it?
Its either 299.99 or 198.00 for reiger thats all I can see without going stupid chav look which is not what I am looking for.
@Herc88

This is all I can see for ABT and I am not spending £600.00 + painting, also they dont look that nice

Because I'm on the same side with you meaning basic exterior packet. retrofited only the front bumper Sline with rs3 grill.
For me side skirts doesn't make to much difference and here in Germany are more expensive 450 euros for the sportback 5door + painting about 100/150.
Better invest your money on rims window tint and Diffuser change.
You can Google it audi a3 8v Abt

Yeah I think I will stick with Reiger or Audi
I like the way Audi looks, but they are over £100.00 more expensive.
The reiger ones are not too bad. Will upload some pictures of both and see what you guys think.
1 is 175.00 and the other is 300.00

I think I am going to stick with OEM and take the plunge.
Lots of threads saying aftermarket dont fit very well, or look odd, and also I love the pointed end, it makes it look more aggressive.
