Congrats. Will look great

Great choice. Hope the wait goes quickly

Have you driven the 8y S3 yet?

No! :whistle2: didn't drive the FL either until it landed on my driveway. Have you?
No not had the opportunity nor the incentive to do so...personally l would like to see all variants before l do.
As for delivery times l think Audi are quoting 4 months for all new builds
Plus as l have said on other threads a 6-5% interest rate sticks in my throat

Didn't like it when I first saw it, especially the alloys. Seats are nice, but would've hoped for a more super super sport set lol. It's grew on me massively to be fair. Didn't like all the usual things mentioned regarding the interior either but it's a nicer place to be in person than pictures. Always felt it was hard to capture the proportions of the 8V Saloon in a photo as well and the 8Y is no different, it looks different to the human eye I think.

Think he was being optimistic with March delivery. Says on my order form 16th March est delivery so in it for the long haul, if it comes sooner then even better.

Seems Audi are pushing Business and Personal leases judging by the deals out there but 6% APR is high on a PCP. I’ve seen some S3 with comfort and sound coming out at £368 per month with 3k or so in

Drive the deal have S3 saloons with launch spec...in stock

Nah, you’ve just got to be confident in your own skin, not have any nagging doubt :welcoming:

considering what the actual interest rates are, Audi really are taking the ****.

Just about every other manufacturer has dropped the interest rates for their finance deals, but I suppose Audi have no incentive to change them whilst all the sheep keep going to them and signing up for pcp deals at these ridiculously high rates.

Really is an absolute p#ss take especially when BMW are offering 2.9% on the M4, lots of zero % on Volvos at the moment.

2.9% across the entire BMW range, including the new 4 series.

That’s apparently because new rules are coming in where they have to offer the same APR across the board. The consequence of that is BMW are handing out smaller discounts to make up for this

I cant see an option for adaptive suspension.... am i missing something?

My guys just been in touch and said car has been given build week 50 which is 4 weeks from now. Could mean that we have a December delivery if not just after NY instead of the originally thought March.

BMW don't offer discounts, they offer contributions. And from what I've seen the contributions haven't dropped because of the 2.9%apr rate.

Haven’t seen it filter down here yet, BMW would be a brand that you can usually get a good deal on in NI because we have four dealerships which is quite a large number based on the size of the country. On the other hand we only have one Audi dealership which is why they tend to be overpriced here when compared to the mainland.

I expect it will be like anything, if they are selling at those deals nothing will change but if they dry up I would say you will see better contributions again even with the lower apr rate.

Build week today!
71 plate then???? the S3 saloon 8y S3 isn't for me now for a lot reasons anyways have you managed to test drive one yet?

You mean 21? Nah I’m not fussed about reggys tbh. Think it’s crazy to wait to March just to register it as a 21. I’ll put my own plate on it anyway. Managed a test in one last week. Seems pointier than the last and the ride seemed better on the 19s. Have been without my last one since January though and have been driving a Golf GTi since but wasn’t disappointed with anything.

like many I wasn’t a fan of the interior but it’s a nicer place to be in person.

DALT...21 plate lol for me there's far too much cost cutting....the door cards are a disgrace...just couldn't justify getting one side ways move ...

I think you do right mate. You have a stunning car so why rush to chop it in. Just be patient until something equally nice catches your eye - you will know when it feels right.

Have to agree though on the 8Y. Such a shame that Audi have cost cut and down graded quality so much. Maybe the facelift will address all of the short comings, time will tell.

Even a face lifted 8y wont sort out the actual cost cutting issues..From my point of view on changing cars....l need it to be fooking special....lol to sell my S3.....So l have been looking at the Cayman/718 Boxster......prefer the looks of the Boxster though and that's the road i am on right now...l did look at the 718 before l got my S3 4 years ago so maybe l may do it this time around
