has anyone fitted these 5500k bulbs to their car? https://emtuning.co.uk/product/h7-fitment-5500k any feedback on how good they are? I've currently got the Philips X-treme Vision +100% (Amazon product) & for the most part i've been pretty happy but would like something that possibly throws the beam further in front & makes things clearer as i'm doing a lot of night driving on B roads and these roads are pretty much pitch black! . I've seen a youtube video that says 5500 or 5000k are actually dimmer than oem bulbs, not sure if that affects how much you can see or not!

I have 100watt bulbs in mine and have had for a couple of years, in both dipped and main beam, light the road up lovely

Well it keeps passing mot with them in. Had them in my previous VW Polo too...
No mods required, just fit them and away you go. Got a 80watt dip/100watt main bulb in my motorcycle too for about 7 years. I drive/ride to work on unlit roads at night and there perfect. Wouldn’t fit anything else

To be honest I can’t remember the make, I got them on EBay but bought a good make. There are loads on there

Did you ever fit any replacement bulbs?
I had a headlight bulb blow last week, so just replaced both with another set of 100w ones, just in case the other decides to fail soon.

Are your headlight covers nice and clear, if they have yellowed or gone milky light output will be reduced.
EM Tuning gear is usually pretty good so may be worth investing £24.
