Audi S4 Vorsprung (no option for flat bottom steering wheel)

Hello everyone,

Was just on the Audi configurator looking at the S4 Vorsprung but can't see the option for a flat bottom steering wheel?

Was considering upgrading but can't stomach the thought of the normal wheel over the flat bottom one.

Maybe they can't add all the controls to the flat bottom one hence no option?

Anyone else with a vorsprung on any other Audi model?

Unless it comes with steering wheel heating as that can’t be combined with the FBSW for whatever reason?

Yep, spec change for the 2021 model year - these cars went into production from mid July. 2021MY get the addition or wireless carplay / Android Auto

No chance of the flat bottom steering wheel coming back?

I'm due to order in December anyway so hoping the option comes back!

Sorry, what I meant was that the Vorsprung gets basically all the options. One of those being the heated steering wheel which you can’t have with the flat bottom. The normal and Black Editions still get the flat bottom if you don’t select the heated option.

That's a shame, really don't like the look of the normal steering wheel but makes sense if it's the heated option that's causing it to not come as a flat bottom one.

People swear by heated steering wheel, but never had one, so don’t know what the fuss is about It is a shame now how they are forcing Vorsprung to get certain things like pro VC, when many other options not needed or wanted

I never had it before it came in a pack for my current car, but I absolutely love the heated wheel now. Hahaha.

Would it be enough for me to swap out a FBSW for a round one though? Don’t know.

If it's the exact same wheel, just flat bottomed, then it is a straight swap. However if you swap a heated steering wheel to a non heated you may get a error on the dis...
