Superb work Scotty, looks beaming! You always do a top job, Mr Bailey will be proud of those snaps.

Just need a push now to get a second polish on mine before end of Autumn. Ready for winter protect.

Picked up my freshly refurbished wheels yesterday only to be told one of them was buckled beyond repair even though it was fine visually. He showed it to me on the wheel balancing machine and let’s just say it moved side to side with enough force to take off. The current situation is that one of my wheels are odd. Happily, however the refurbishment company said they will refurbish the next wheel I pick up for free. So, I've purchased one and it shouldn’t be too long until I'm matching again. I must say I love the look of the FL S3 wheels.
Also treated the car to a routine wash and sealant top up since today is the only day it won't rain!

On a real mission to keep the A3 8v tip top till next year . Really want to maximise the sale value as we're eyeing up S3 8v's. Ideally an 17 / 18 plate. Gotta have the chrome touches, just split between a Daytona or blue variant. Either way looking fir something fully loaded. Can't wait !!

Haha, same here, had weeks of webbing around the door mirrors, cleared them off and next day came back again.

Never managed to catch the spider out from living behind the door mirrors, fast buggers.

All good mate, good to hear you are planning a upgrade of your A3, but next owner will be getting one heck of a car!

Look forward to the hunt, subscribe me.

Detailing for me slowed down in the last few weeks, complete kitchen replacement taking lots of planning

Fitted new cctv over the drive.

And washed the car, of course.

Night and day shot.

Feel your pain. I’ve had bumpers, doors etc scratched after getting serviced or warranty work. Thing is a trim removal tool is buttons from like of Amazon. I’ve had trims off the car and not managed to scratch or even a light mark. That was retrofitting folding door mirrors where lots of bits have to come off and stored.
It’s just as bad if they wash the car even after I tell them not to.

Sorry to read this, what ****. Your car is mint.

Can't trust anybody to care and look after a very well kept car other than yourself.

Reminds me of when my local Audi main dealer trashed a wheel on my old S4 when it was in for service

So I thought I'd give paint correction a go, got myself a Das Pro 6 plus and a couple of Hex Logic Quantum pads. Then set about practising on my old bus with Scholl S20. It took a long time as the cars quite big but very happy with the results:
Bc50
Tc50
Bc501
W50
