Handing car back - what a faff!

When l thought about changing my car for a fully loaded TTS awhile back it was a no brainer for me it had 1500 miles on the clock,in as new condition but most of all it had that whaooooo factor plus it looked rare and special, it was only £35,600 a awesome price this was the car, check the rrp!!!! But sadly it was sold within 2 days after l saw it,not seen one quite like it since, used car sales are on high now and l would go slightly used if l find a car like that TTS again......View attachment 197402

What about this one @jassyo06
Don’t know if the price would be as good, but got nice individual paint colour

I doubt the dealership would be bothered! A mate of mine said to send the MD of Audi UK an email telling him and see what his reply is!
You never know...Sometimes it takes a 'kick up the ****' from a senior level to get the dealerships to toe the line.
Try it ,can't do any harm...Plus it might give us all a giggle when you post their reply haha

Hi mate it would have had to be a Vorsprung Edition or nothing, besides l really dislike that style of alloy on Audi's, it'll be May 2021 when l change cars now as l have spent a small fortune on a Home Cinema system in the 9 months

Well I'm now in no rush to buy another Audi, if they were prepared to switch on the day then I would....their loss! I'd even sent him a link to the car/spec I was interested in.

Did your collection by BCA go well? I hope I can give them a date and they will collect it on that date! Service is due end Oct mot 21st Oct, car can go back between 19th Sept - 19 Oct.

Yeah, BCA were fine. There wasn't a mark on my car so I had no concerns of it being inspected. The guy collecting it actually remarked that he doesn't collect many cars in that condition, that made the fact that Audi wouldn't trade it all the more annoying.

@Daz4311 The Yaris GR is in Toyota Queensferry for 2 days only!

He offered me £20,500 for my car :) Showed me the CAP figures on the screen, even in fair condition it was £19,500 poor condition was £18,??? something

Anyway:
1
2
3
4
5
6
7

It looks better in the flesh, proper beefy looking! But £33k with the circuit pack on...limited numbers being built which may make it a good long term investment.

I'm sorry but that is a very boxy car. Not to my taste and for £33k it is pretty punchy on price.

It’s certainly different, you can pick up 135i’s for that money.

A potential investment If you are going to garage/not drive it but even then I can’t see it becoming a classic.

I dont think it will EVER be worth the 33k list price ever again even if hits classic status which it wont

This article today suggests that classic car industry is going to take a huge hit in the next 10 years???

Ok the Yaris and other current classic cars aren't Hybrids but the article hints that the government will have petrol and diesel cars off the road sooner rather than later 2030-2035. Probably by increasing road and fuel tax to the point it won't be economical to drive one?
Not much point in having a classic if you can't afford to drive it on the road or not be allowed to.
