Speed limit on UK roads is still 70mph though :p It's like having a 12" gentleman sausage! it may look good, but how much can you actually use??? ;)

Yeah I know I know.. bigger engines and twin turbos do the tricks .. oh mine would never hit 200 even tuned .. 2.0 engines has its limits I believe.. They showed dash so if you count you will see how long it took to reach 60mph but they spinned a lot so not good start..

Here, in this video only one lambo (possibly tweaked) had top speed 220 others less..and they are supercars
Many ppl espec. in USA love to do top speeds .. that what is fun for if you owning sport car
I don't like ppl who buys car only to show off to their neighbors, so pathetic, naive and sad, parked car and sat in their driveway literally never used.. ending up selling it..

Will a tuned fabia 2.0 TDI beat a stock S3?

The simple answer is, never. In reality, a tuned FWD diesel car with enough power to out run an S3 would never get the power down and would be more or less undriveable. The S3 would be gone by the time you've wheel spun all the way to 4th gear where it might start to hold full traction (assuming is dry)

The only time it would win would be a rolling start then it would romp off.

traffic light grand prix no chance. Round the twisties no chance.

then you have to ask yourself where would you rather be in an Audi or an old Skoda
