I must admit I do think the spy shots of the new Golf R look great, still not sold on the interior though but I’m not a huge fan of the new A3’s either. The Golf will be a great seller if it also has 330 bhp and the new engine that’s rumoured.

Don’t know whether this has been shared before but the latest photos of the Golf in Lapiz Blue look great especially from the rear, spoiler looks good without being a bit too over the top like the A35/45.

There was a lot of rumours about a Golf R ‘plus’ (with the xtra bhp) not sure if there’s any truth in it. Can’t see it myself.

Nowt to do with Audi losing sales mate the last Golf 7/7-5 R out sold/leased the S3 right out the park hence they are as common as muck.......on the roads......with very poor residuals....it's more like Audi losing face over the Volkswagen...besides l think the A3/S3 and the Golf/R are marketed/aimed at different buyers.....besides it's a win win win for VAG....Audi are just a brand name now as VAG own it all

Nah I can’t see the golf getting a better engine and more bhp in all seriousness but it would be a good selling point if it was true. Anything’s possible I guess with Audi’s mad thinking now a days just look at the decision to scrap some petrol S models

One of my friends who’s a salesman at BMW said they’ve definitely seen a big upturn in people trading in their Audi’s for petrol powered M versions because of it. Bet the same has happened at Merc...

I asked about the GTI and the R after testing the MK8 the salesman told me the R would have 320 bhp so not sure how much truth there was in that.

From my own point of view....it could have 330 bhp or 340bhp....etc etc as nice as it looks it's still a hatchback back at the end of the day and l have no interest in a hatchback.....

To be fair, the Saloon does look quite nice from the outside. Poor choice of wheels though. Never liked them on the RS5.

Agree, exterior does look good, not that different from current, but not an expert ;-)

In general, the Audi range of wheels on offer at the mo is not the best, hopefully more options to come for those looking to get one

Audi Solihull didn’t have 1 to look around so took a punt on Poole having 1
They had 2
Saloon and hatch
Took bout hundred pics but here’s a few

I don’t think they are ugly looking cars but the grill just looks a bit too big and out of place. Saloon is the better one of the two.

Although I don’t like the fake vents, don’t mind the ones on the rear of the TT but they are too big and obvious on the A3. Also, saw on a video somewhere the lower vents on the front are only open one side and fake on the other that would trigger my OCD

That RS7 though is great if I won the lottery I’d have one of those in a heartbeat it looks mega!

But is the same for the CLA45S, so presumably the same for A45S amongst others.

Everything on the new A3 is starting to look 'oversize'

The front grille looks huge, the front lights are massive & the chrome window cappings look massive at the rear section.

I am bias but I love how Ara changes colour depending on the sunlight, had loads of positive comments about it. My favourite paint colour outside of exclusive colours, I’d love solar orange or viper green one day...

Both colours are straight off the peg Galaxy Blue and Navarra Blue

When I was first looking into getting an S3 I didn’t even give Ara a second thought. But then I went to an Audi dealership and there was an Ara sport back, chrome editon, red calipers, privacy glass, ect and I instantly fell in love with it.

I do think Navarra looks good but only in certain lights. The other thing that put me off when I went to view a S5 in Navarra that was only 6’months old was the amount of swirls and scratches on it, obviously with it being a dark colour I guess it’s more prone to it but I just had flashbacks of my old black A3 that was awful to maintain and it put me right off
