Next Gen 2021 Audi A3 Sedan Debut

I saw one today with a load of additional kit on, it looked oem but I can’t find a similar one on autotrader, looked really smart.

BMW do a Msport pack mate 19s front/side/rear add ons but l am really not wanting a hatchback.....only beemer l would shortlist would be a Z4

Maybe not too far off for the RS3 then fingers crossed

Why not try and order the current car fully loaded at far less money....must be a lot due into dealerships across the country...l heard a 19 plate Rs3 Saloon Start up right next to me on the forecourt of a petrol station....it still sounded really really good....didnt look anywhere near as nice as my car but it sounded better....it was in Daytona grey, sports exhaust.....**** all else barr...wait for it.......Carbon Ceramic Brakes....what a waste of £5000.....never pull any money back for that option

Yes mate..It is a very nice car indeed but that specific car didnt give me that whao feeling that l want ....if it where optioned with 19s and a external Msport package it would look very good indeed....it was like sitting in a TT.......ie very low and sporty......BMW have a great car here....sounds excellent too

I don't know what cost is involved, but motech do a lovely kit for them and a spring and spacer setup that really makes them stand out while still looking very OEM. If I were to buy one I would definitely look into that.

On the other hand BMW have gotten the M235i very wrong, I was down looking at possibly changing to an M2 competition last week and seen my first one, absolutely awful looking car from almost every angle.

Ps....Contrary to what we all thought the car trade is booming, well up in Scotland it is....Jordans Dealership had record sales this last month on used cars
Jeez! Hasn't it just.:scared2:
I had a similar conversation with a salesman at Audi a week ago. He started his job about a month before lock down. Needless to say that wasn't perfect timing.Since the dealership re opened he has been busy every day with inquiries for new and used with a high proportion of those ending up in sales. I can't figure out the logic myself:blink:
I bet your looking forward to your hols mate:yahoo:
You know the old saying here.........No pics and it didn't happen lol:thumbs up:

Still looking

times running out
What's the issue in not travelling??
There are bargains to be had if you are prepared to travel. You could also ask your local dealership to bring one in if the travelling is a problem.
How about the red one below?

Similar where I am. Couple of people I know buying cars atm and reporting similar feedback.

it’s not just cars either, other trades are booming too.

A very conflicting picture to what is being broadcast in the news, certainly for some pockets of industry anyway.

Lots of people with money burning holes in pockets from reduced commutes, inability to spend on luxury travel, going to pubs etc. I’ve saved a fortune not commuting and put that towards a new road bike.

However working in banking I can see the huge reduction in investment next year and it equates to a lot of job losses in the short/medium term. Retail is showing a bounce back though and building slowly picking up.

If the oxford vaccine passes trials then fingers crossed for a relatively speedy recovery.

New A3 growing on me other than dash/vents, to bring it back on topic.

Back on Topic....Those vents you keep on going on about....when the dashboard binnacle is the main focus/isolated...yeah they look....a bit askew but when the full dashboard is included in the frame it does balance itself out...it's growing on me more and more.....

That's the place you went last year isn't it? Gutted that holidays have been messed up this year, our June holiday was cancelled :( what makes it worse is we got it for a great price. One night mid November I checked the price and it had dropped by £1,000 I phoned them up to check it was correct, she was shocked as well, she checked with her manager and came back with "That's the price if you book it now" so I booked it there and then....the next day it went back up by £1,000 and stayed up!
To be fair when they canceled it they were spot on, sent us an email saying it had been cancelled: option 1) Move the holiday to a different date, 2) Credit note, 3) Wait for us to contact you. So we waited, a week later we got a call asking what we wanted to do, "Refund please" two days later money was back with me....I'll 100% book with Jet2 again just because of that. We'd normally be away next week and then again mid-late September, but with the way things are we're not going to risk it. I'm 50 next year so hopefully things will be better, so just use the saved money and do the Maldives or something special for that.

As you say used sales and prices are on the up. I had mine on Wizzle, a guy phoned me and offered £18,150 I said no straight away, he said how much to sell it then? He caught me off guard a bit so I just said £19,500 and I'll think about it...the next morning he phoned me back and offered £19,500! said it was for Sytner Audi but they wanted it within 14 days. It was just a shame I couldn't get anything in time that I like and for a decent price.

I also received a letter from work last Friday, we had been due to go back in September, but now we go back on the 17th August as they need 'Our quality built cars' that part made me smile :) as they are selling all the stock that they have! It's going to kill me after 5 months off!

Oh don't like the alloys or the price for a 1.5 s-line https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/new/202007221540257?

Certainly not the a3 with that interior, there isn't currently a choice of engines to make it mildly interesting either. Audi have taken(one) of their best looking cars with an ageing interior and made it worse.
Expecting Jassy to post pictures of seats again :crying:
