Audi S3 service plan 20% off offer

I’m guessing the service deal prices don’t include haldex service at 20k and brake fluid change at the 3 year service and that these would be additional costs?

Just booked mine in at My local Audi indi. 3 year old S3 with 23k.
Inspection Service inc oil and pollen filter. £210
Haldex service inc gauze clean (and pics) £120
Brake fluid change £45
MOT £50
Total - £425

I got another quote from another garage was £615.

That's a decent price that mate I wonder how much the main dealer would charge for all that? Think they normally charge £200+ just for a basic service/oil change.

Yeah I’ve seen prices on here nearly £400 for the service alone from Audi I think but then also 2 services for £374 on this offer. Gets a bit confusing. Don’t trust Audi so would be going indi anyway. All genuine parts used for the price and to Audi spec. By an ex Audi tech.

Yeah have extended for a year and will do again next year. Probably keep it until at least 5 years old, nothing taking my fancy at the moment other than S5 but still like the flexibility of useable back seats. See what the new S3 saloon looks like in person when the time comes.

I'm thinking the other end lol. At first I was going to go with the £100 excess, but then thought if I do the £250 & hopeful no claim = I've saved £75, if I do have to claim then it's cost me that saved £75 and only an additional £75.

I'm doing about 3,000 per year so my main concern was if the gearbox went bang! Had it a couple of times where it sort of clunked/dropped into gear whilst going from 1st-2nd which always sounds bad.

True. I thought if I knew I had to pay £250 for an issue it would probably put me off sorting minor issues. Whereas with £0 I will be happy to raise minor things.

One claim with £250 excess and you’re £100 worse off than the £450 £0 excess.

£100 excess is probably a good balance.

Chances are I'll change it next summer if not before, I still want to downsize, but to something I really want and that comes with a 5 year warranty! The replacement GT86 is interesting if it looks like the renderings that are around:

My Folks toyota is 13 years old on 200k+ bought new, still on original clutch and engine etc. Only thing it’s had discs/pads and new shocks in its life. servicing is around £150-200 a year. My almost 2 year old s3 has been back 5 times for rattles, bad battery and a set of tyres under warranty for Pirelli

Doesn't surprise me to be honest a lot of people seem to have problems with them .

Don't think I'll be getting the P zero's again .

As long as it looks nice, works, has a 5 year warranty and is cheap to insure and run I'm not bothered about the badge I'd even buy Kia if they did one I really liked.
