Well then u simply say 3 door sportback and 5 door sportback ... Hatchback term is for all brands these types of cars which boot opening is called door because it opens fully .. Saloon or sedan doesn't have boot opening as door calling , becuse it isn't opening fully but just half way ... so that's why saloons are always 4 door
And sportback is audi own term... If that make sense..
3 door and 5 door has same front end... And will fit even sline trim or sport trim... all swappable
rear end is different not swappable

No if u go on audi website nothing is mention about ''hatchback'' term.. Only sportback, but they now stopped making 3 door cars I think
that is global term ''hatch'' meaning small door where u can open and sit down or even lie down and relax or sunbedding..
All this started with the very first VW golf everyone loved this shorter type from typical sedan/saloons
So many manuf then followed and started making golf type cars .. naming hatchback but audi made up their own name ''sportback''

NO dat someone been spreading bullss.. Audi never called their cars ''hatchback''.. Or some ppl making statements from themselves.. And don't even understand .. Hatchback cars been invented as small car compact unisex suits for majority ppl.. Audi made their own label
If you go on any car websites the word hatchback already tells ppl what type car it is not about how many doors.. Sportback is only used at audi

We all know the sportback is a 5 door hatch, we are saying that Audi are calling it a sportback instead of a hatchback, this is Audi terms.
When they were selling 3 doors, which it seems they are dropping now, they called it a 3 door hatchback not sportback.

Like in your post #4 saying its a 3 door sportback is not correct. I cannot find anywhere where audi ever terms their 3 door as a sportback even on their websites. Its only the 5 door they called it the sportback.

Everytime someone posts something he seems to want to argue, corect someone, being aggresive or confrontational.
Also this post was not even about the terms of hatchback or sportback, the OP wanted to know if the bumper was the same, and instead of offering an answer or trying to help he decided to correct him which did not help his answer at all.

Don't say I have something incorrect ! I suggest you to get info from Audi like me then claim something
u only saying it because other individual teached you wrongly and it has been spreaded misleadingly

You can call both globally hatchback
3 Door Sportback Hatchback
5 Door Sportback Hatchback
