What did you & your B9 do today?

They look ok, but would have looked much better in a bigger size to fill them arches up.

Possibly. Maybe just needs some springs to drop it down a bit. Fitment is great (9x19 ET32, 255/35 tyres) so looks really flush.

New wheels on... not 100% convinced by them. Maybe it’s the grey blending too much with the car

I like them - think they look good. I think they look a bit small because of the light which exaggerates the rims and makes the tyres invisible. In a different light, they'd be in better perspective. (nice number plate !!)

If you do go for springs I recommend MSS automotive springs. You can adjust to whatever height you want and the ride quality is superb. I have 8.5x20 ET35 255/35 tyres (slightly bigger than normal) and the ride quality is really nice. Not stiff and bashing everywhere like it did on the eibach pro kit I had on before.

A bit of tyre dressing and better light in the evening makes a world of difference. Some H&R or Eibach springs would help too I imagine...

lovely car what size are your wheel if you don’t mind me asking?

How much did you pay for that? I'm looking to sell mine.

Ahh now you tell me lol how come your selling ,

mine is a TDI , yours an S4 right ?

I did find a white one myself but my last one was white and had comments , its just going to look the same so i opted for a black one , going stealth.

mine was £12k @ 79k FASH and company owned - not even an owner on the V5

my plan is to get maxton front and side skirts

Ah sorry was quoting another user who purchased a Milltek Decat, I do have an S4 though yeah.

Bit of a controversial one, but thought I'd give it a bash as doing a little research it seems to make a little more power!

Chucked in a K&N filter and opened up the airbox, who needs an overpriced intake!

Just awaiting my Carbnlab intake hose for the complete job, soon as its dry outside I'll do some Dragy runs and see if there's any difference!

Whoa ! That is gorgeous!! My favourite alloys as well on your S4. Did you do the re-badging in black yourself?

Thanks for the feedback - Yes, re-badged the car myself with a mix of genuine black Audi and eBay badges which matches in with the grill, carbon mirror caps and de-chrome I had done earlier this year.

I just need to get some black plastidip for the metal front cross member that you can see behind the honeycomb grill (wish the guy who fitted it had told me about the cross member as would have got him to paint it black).

How much does a service like that set you back?

£500 all in which is very reasonable as had quotes for £700 and £850 from different detailers for the same correction and ceramic work.

Looks good! I've just had mine ceramic coated. I had it once on the BMW I owned and now on the A4. It;s a game-changer when it comes to cleaning it.

Was looking at options for accommodating a Labrador in the boot of the A4 Avant, how to remove the motorised boot compartment cover, buying a partition between the rear seat back tops and roof etc.

Figured out how to sort the compartment cover by pulling beyond the rails and unhooking (manual description was crap) and unlatching the cassette with the cover, I discovered the fitment of the material screen partition that extends and hooks into the side lugs near the roof. Is this standard fit on some models or did someone buy it and leave it in?

So today, I finally got the plastic thingy from the dealer with the 10 digit code for my 67 plate S4 purchased in February!! To be fair they do have to be ordered from Audi AG and it got interrupted by the pandemic.

But now I am the "key user" and have finally got all the remote functionality - door locking/unlocking, vehicle status, location etc etc. None of it strictly necessary, but nice to have!!

Mine was untouched from the first owner 1 year ago. Got mine all set up last week. Just need to know how to update the satnav and to know how old the version I'm using is.

I gave the fob to the new owner of my car when I sold it. Will they be able to use it to register or will they need a fresh fob with new code from Ingolstadt?

I believe they can use it - it’s just that most people lose it !!

Treated the front end to a new gloss black splitter to match the gloss grill.

Photos would have been better if the heavens hadn’t opened!

I drove from Hastings to Crowborough and back today, two hour return journey. This was my first longish drive since I went into isolation the beginning of March, other than a fortnightly drive around the block. Unlike some I also have to stay in lockdown until one week after my operation on the 7th August.
Still it was nice stretching the legs of the car again and averaged 43mpg over A and B roads which is fine. Though not looking forward to having my knee replaced and being advised not to drive for six weeks afterwards...

A few transformational updates:

black Callipers and Hob
