A4 Avant Black Edition

Hi All,

I've got an A4 Avant Black Edition due for delivery in September. I was wondering is there any nifty features that arent common knowledge ? Anything to watch for on the car ? Is it keyless entry and ignition ?

I've a S-Line awaiting a build slot. Moving from an A5 sportback.

Quirks, there will be a black box taking up most of the glove box - that is where a CD player and hard drive multi changer was and an SD card slot for your music! Cost cutting means it's no longer available for the UK market. Although it's been in pre-facelift A4s and my 2018 S-Line A5

I think you need to spend some time with the spec list to avoid any disappointment over missing features you assume are included.

Keyless entry is not standard (requires comfort & sound pack), keyless go is. The higher Audi trims mainly add different looks/style/trims and lights, if you want extra tech you need to add option packs.

Another good one to invest in is the OBDEleven socket. It plugs into the car and you can code mods at a touch of a button.

My favourite is Scandinavian DRLs, that is the rear lights on when the front DRLs are on. It gives the car a rear 'signature', in my opinion!
