No exotic locations at this time for a photo, just a few cosmetic changes and bring it in line with it's French sister. Just waiting for the correct size black rear S3 badge to arrive.

Champagne...gold...??? and why not fit a oem RS grill
Ford Solar Gold - Halfords
Grill cost £100 off my friend who bought the face lift when he needed the preface lift grill and if there was a genuine RS face lift grill in black with the adaptive cruise control cut-out for under £200 at the time then maybe I would have. I can live with the solid rings mount.

Car looks cool mate. Like how you have 2 with the same sort of styling. Like how you’ve done your own thing. Props to you sir

I'm on the same struggle with the correct size black badge lmao. Ordered one but it wasn't the right size.

Thankfully the new badge should arrive at my place tomorrow morning :rockwoot:

Got a black OEM badge from Audi this time around, hope it's worth the extra $$

It’s worth it. I got oem rings on the back. But the ones on the hood is not. Oem is so stiff they would not follow the slight curve of the hood to lay flat. That’s the only reason i got ebay rings on the front☹️

Awesome!

Though it doesn’t show on the pictures, my rings are black on the back now as well. I really like the black on black look.

Will post updates as the new badge arrives and I install it.

I washed my car today(nothing strange there), but with this car in particular I am very impressed by how shiny the paintwork continues to look.
My car is 23 months old and has had absolutely nothing done to the body other than my ordinary(but very careful :innocent:) washing, no polishing or anything.
I am wondering is this a German paint thing, or Audi specific?
It is my first for both, but I am genuinely very impressed.

Ara Blue pretty resilient paint to be honest as are most Audi metallic/Pearlescent/Crystal paints....you'll NOT get as hard a clear coat like this on yer forthcoming Merc mate lol. Audi's Ara Blue has larger Metallic particles in it's make up over a standard Audi metallic paint reason why it's more expensive AUDI and BMW have better quality paint than the other German brands....Ford/French/ltalian and all Japanese/Korean cars have the least resilient paints...ie guff....touch em...they mark

Honestly I don't know if the Merc is going to happen Jassy......it will take a lot of compliance on the dealears behalf.
I have noticed the larger metallic particles visible in direct sunlight on this car. :)
From what I have heard German paint is thicker than most others, and so far this has been my experience....no stone chips compared with previous cars(Ford, Honda).
And like you say others are soooooo easily marked if you are not careful(which I am :innocent:)

My Milano Red FN2 had the worst/thinist paint ever mate....Clear coat was soft as....Audi's metallic/pearlescent/crystal paints are way tougher than their flat paints....My Voodoo paint aint as tough as say my Sepang paint was But it's nowhere near as soft as my ST, Type R where...all 3 are flat paints....so best avoiding flat painted cars....especially when that big yellow thing in the sky shines on them lol

Ara is a stunning colour, and those are by far my favourite wheels on the S3.

Hardly any rain for a month amazingly. When it rained for the first time in ages a couple of days ago, it was lying on the surface of the lawn the ground is brick hard. Just gutted we couldn’t get out driving to enjoy it as much a normal. The upside is the car’s still clean in the garage :tearsofjoy:

Yes mate. Milltek titanium GT 100mm tips.

Green Goblin vibe I really like what you’ve done.
Do you just have miltek tips fitted or are you running a miltek system?

Was out driving in the good weather but only too and from work.....had the panoramic roof open lol been seeing dozens of folks in their cars driving with massive masks on.....surprised they could see the road in front.....
I have been working all through this mental period....roads and motorways empty almost....until this week where there has been far more traffic far more.......

Nice one mate, did you have those PPF filters before you put on the APR sports cat?
Also are you going through MOT okay with this set up? As this is the exact same route I’m heading

2015 pre facelift. No idea about PPF filters. Only got stage 2 in October. Had an issue with the post cat lamda sensor recently and had it replaced. Local audi specialist said the reading were spot on after the sensor change, so assuming MOT will be fine.

Do you have a picture the rear of your car with the tips visible taken from a distance? Sorry if I missed them. I think my 90 mm tips are a little small for 24 cm wide cut out of a S3 diffuser. I like the look of mine from certain angles and dislike when I look straight from behind the car, so I consider to replace my tips with 100 mm ones or get another design.
