What Detailing / Car Care Products Have You Bought / Ordered Today?

I use Dodo Juice Supernatural Leather Cleaner on any thing leather on my cars and really love the product. And like @Bishop187 has mentioned use a soft toothbrush on the steering wheel on regular basis.

I don't think using a normal upholstery cleaner would be a good idea as dedicated leather cleaner are usually water based and have blend of soap and mild solvents compared to slightly harsher for upholstery.

They are ok. I have one but the thread on it isn’t great so not the easiest to thread on the s/f Lance. Much prefer my autobrite bottles

Yes that why I brought it, because it stands up. Only problem is that it doesn’t fit on to my autobrite lance properly. Gonna have to return it, it’s a shame because I really like it

Anyone know if I can buy another autobrite bottle just by itself?

exact probelm I had, great idea with the wider bottom, but thread (and plastic) very soft and doesn't line up with autobrite lance very well.

I would email autobrite, or call them (assuming open), as they are very helpful, and may offer bottle only

Same brand offer a leather sealant/protection which is also brilliant. I top my leather up with this once a month or so. You don't have to put helps protect the leather.
On the seats makes them hydrophobic and helps if anything is spilt on them etc

Looking to restock my detailing supplies, any recommendations on:

Citrus pre wash
Snow foam
Clay bar/decontamination stuff
Glass cleaner
Some way of making stone chips on my windscreen less prominent?
Tyre dressing & applicator
Wheel cleaning brush
Detailing brushes

Also does anyone bother with those grit catcher buckets or is it just a waste of money?

Snow foam, envy car care lovely bubbly, have just tried valet pro foamula 1 and that’s good too

clay bar - bilt hamber

glass cleaner - Dooka glass

tyre dressing - gtechik using foam applicator, although also use carpro Perl which can be used on all plastics and rubbers also

wheel cleaning brushes - got some wheel woolies not long ago, really like them

Can't answer all but:

Snow foam: BH auto foam, unbeatable at shifting dirt however doesn't foam that much
Clay bar: AMDetails, can use with just water as lube
Glass cleaner: Gyeon glass cleaner
Wheel cleaning brush: tyres I use in2detailing tyre brush, wheel Woolies are popular choice for cleaning alloys.
Detailing brushes: Detail factory brushes are super soft and great for use on paint, their boar brushes I use for engine bay and plastics.

Tyre dressing & applicator - Gyeon Q2 Tire Quartz coating
Wheel cleaning brush - Wheel Woolies, but EZBrush's are brilliant, and cheaper

I have cut down on my detailing gear over the last 12 months, so will confirm a few products against what you’ve noted.

Snow foam: Bilt Hamber auto foam
Shampoo: Bilt Hamber auto wash or Gtechniq G wash
Glass cleaner: Gtechniq G6
Tyre dressing: Fireball ultimate tyre coat
Wheel cleaning brush: wheel woolies

The Gyeon range of products are also very popular, and I will try a few out in the near future.

In regards to the grit catcher buckets, I think these are a must in the ever ongoing battle to reduce swirls on your paintwork!

At its price point bilt hamber snow foam is unbeatable but if you want more foam and more cleaning power you need to spend £10/£12 more....

@jassyo06 also highly rates Sonax BSD.....doesn’t he @Bristle Hound :tearsofjoy:

FYI I have bought and used Bsd....used it as drying aid on family cars....yeah it's great at beading...if that's your thing but leaves yer paint feeling a tad sticky....if it where to leave your paint feeling really smooth l would buy it on a regular basis...7 out of 10
It tends to capture airborne dust more because of the lack of smoothness in its finish....
I fired on Autoglyms ultra def wax to my car after a machine polish....forgotten how good this stuff was to apply and buff off...and finish was outstanding....

I have been looking for an exterior quick detailer, looked at a few reviews and the seem to be recommending a product called Bouncers Done and Dusted.

never heard of it before, can anyone comment on it.

Think there is a thread in the detailing section on here to do with it, iirc people said it was good but seemed to attract a lot of dust

Ordered and delivered. Needed some more fall out remover and seen Ultimate Finish had discounted Fireballs version so thought why not! 10% discount made it even sweeter. I also needed a new detailer spray and I debated going with Gyeon this time, but ended up going with Gtechniq C2. After a recent try with another manufacturer of detailer spray I noticed the finish and water behaviour wasn’t anywhere near as good as C2, and though I’m better sticking to what I know works best with the Gtechniq Ultra coating I have.

Have to agree mate, the delivery charges are a rip off, or spend £££’s to get free or cheaper delivery, and often only want need one or two things.

Any thoughts on P&S Brake Buster? Heard good things about it
