B pillar trims

As the outer b pillar trims on my S3 are looking a little tried I was wondering how they are fitted. I think there are 3 rivots hidden behind the rubber door seal which need to be drilled out but are they held on by anything else?? Do the side windows need to be removed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This is also on my to do list. Does the door seal trim just pull off?

Just pulls off make sure you put back in exactly the same position mark with tipp-ex to be sure,

• Hollow rivet
• -B- pillar trim
  • ◆ To remove, drill out rivet heads and drive out rivet stems
  • ◆ When installing, fit trim onto vent window with clips as shown.
• Door seal
  • ◆ Pull off seal near trim before drilling out rivet heads.

Hey, yes the idea is to repaint as there's a small amount of corrosion and the paints flaked, which is annoying me. Or if I can find one or both as Audi say there obsolete replace with new as I think there around £18-£20 each.
