You won't get a K4 for Thai price but my K4 compact is that price from the link above.

Kind regards in SC.

For £5.12, thought I would try this on my son car seats.

Recommend this astonish upholstery cleaner for the cloth and carpets.

For what it costs I wasn't expecting much but it did the job on these seats and carpet.

It will gets used on the Audi next time.

Have had an autobrite one for years, no complaints, even bought another a couple months ago so I could use one for s/f and one for winter shampoo.

Have heard good things about Autoglym’s one, but not tried personally

Lol, I agree mate. Inside of rear glass always gets neglected. Believe it is the awkward position to get to it.

It was supposed to be a normal wash for BMW but, as I mentioned I decided to use it as a sandpit for A3 as it would be my first time using MF pads. Really looking forward to it as the interior clean has made a huge difference and I am expecting the same on the outside as well. Thanks once again for your help mate -

The Halfords cleaning tool is quite good for rear screens https://www.halfords.com/motoring/c...rds-long-reach-windscreen-cleaner-147052.html

Little investment to help dry cars or at least mirrors and other “drip” areas. A bargain @£50 odd, as I have the Dewalt XR batteries already

Should try cleaning the inside of an A5 coupe rear screen.
Absolutely nigh on impossible

I don't even bother, see some people online go through the boot to do it but that's too much even for me.

Being 6ft5 means it's difficult enough squeezing in to hoover the back seats let alone clean the glass.

Cheers buddy, and as always X3 looking fabulous . It will be my first time using CanCoat and I am really looking forward to it when it arrives in the morning.

I decon'd the BMW today, first with IronX and then BH Claybar (almost twice) however, the paint still isn't smooth enough for my liking. Will do another wash tomorrow and use BH Korrosol before paint correction followed by CanCoat, which will hopefully do the trick.

What the decontamination wont remove the stage 1 compound will....av polished over some minute spots of tar etc etc and they dont impede the paint correction process the toughness your feeling on the clear coat is years of being pummeled by the weather..so l wouldn't bother with another wash and decon...as long as there's no obvious **** on the car....the clear coat just needs a shave mate

Cheers buddy. That's very helpful and just in time as I had taken out the kit and was about to start the wash in next 5-10 mins .

Unnamed

Picked up some essentials plus some glass polish and pad, little bit dubious of running a DA over glass but from what I've seen it's perfectly safe to do so.

Good buy is that Nev. I've fancied the Flex cordless blower for sometime, but the price @ 200 bangers (including charger + 1 battery) is crackers. A quick Google shows your Dewalt has the same air flow speed and is similarly compact and the price with charger and 1 battery is more like £130. So you've peaked my interest. Let us know how you get on with it (i.e. has it got enough puff). Not looking to dry the whole car with one of these, but blasting water out from all the little nooks and crannies that drip for hours after would save a lot of time and frustration. Need to do some research to see if bish bash Bosch do something similar to fit with the charger and cells I already have :readit:

If you've washed the glass and prepped it with something like ipa etc etc you'll not have anything to worry about mate, the glass polish in combination with the machine polisher will strip everything off the glass.....and l mean everything so apply a h2go or whatever your choice is of glass coating is....afterwards divide the the windscreen into 4 parts use masking tape and moisten the pad prior to polishing as glass polish has a habit of dusting very easily probably best to cover the windshield scuttle to save any mess from dusting

Definitely going to try this at some stage. I see lots of people are raving about it. Do you have a preferred method of using it, or just go with what Gyeon tell you?

Cheers for the tips, I don’t have any glass coating, so I’ll pick some up before I give it a go. I do need decontaminate the glass, I don’t have any ipa, any recommendations?

Yes, I fancied the flex, but pricey. Knew I wanted a small cordless though. Haven’t used in car yet, but a test blow it is pretty powerful and and a slider to adjust speed.

Will let you know

Agree with @jassyo06. I had a mark on my rear screen when car was brand new (I was doing the new car detail) that nothing would shift (ipa, korrosol, surfex etc etc. Some polish on da...bosh!

So decided to get the trolley jack out and take the wheels off (one by one !!) to clean the inside properly. All went pretty well, although haven't got any proper wheel coating stuff (e.g. C5) so just used Autoglym Polish. Done the front two so far.

Was a bit surprised that the paint finish on the inside was glossy/smooth - in fact on the V spoke wheels it seems to be a rather dull matt finish, which is presumably why the're so difficult to clean. I'm sure my S3 wheels were super-smooth - anyone else got the V Spokes and found the same?

Have you read up on Fusion wax mate,it's probably the least user friendly wax you'll come across....plus its advises you to keep the car in doors after its application for up to 12 hours .....definitely not worthy of it's high price, Nano coat is awesome stuff its also not that easy in its application and another product to be kept covered after you've applied it...coating wax is a great quick Detailer....hydrophobic snowfoam is great for a quick fix, shampoo is quality similar to gyeon Bathe

Yeah I’ve heard it’s a pain and not to let it get wet/ direct sunlight for straight after but have also heard good things about it sfo thought it’s worth a try

Can i ask what are people using to clean the stitching on the steering wheel. Without harming the leather. Mine is disgusting, but never attempted it before. Would some normal upholstery cleaner and a toothbrush do the trick?

Along with a simple process on how to do it would be great. Looked at loads of videos on youtube.

I used Dr Leather wipes once which done a great job. Haven’t tried it in a while, but assume the results will still be good.

I use Dodo Juice Supernatural Leather Cleaner on any thing leather on my cars and really love the product. And like @Bishop187 has mentioned use a soft toothbrush on the steering wheel on regular basis.

I don't think using a normal upholstery cleaner would be a good idea as dedicated leather cleaner are usually water based and have blend of soap and mild solvents compared to slightly harsher for upholstery.

A few pics of leather cleaned (including steering wheel) with Dodo Juice.
