Hi guys i have a fl without magride.

I want to improve the ride...currently it feels a bit too bouncy.

I dont want the car too low as its a daily.

What springs do people suggest?

Avoid KW H.A.S. - awful in terms of running noises whilst turning.

As little as possible to be honest..around 10mm front and back
Eibach pro kit is around 10-15 mm drop. I tried them with Magride and didn't like them, too soft IMO. Stock springs handled better.

What are you running now?

Hoe good are the h&r coilovers?

I have MSS height adjustable springs. Good ride quality but expensive.

Since you have fixed suspension then coilovers are an option since you don't need to have the mag ride deletes. I've heard good things about the bilstein b14 coil overs, just depends how much you want to spend.

I was tempted to go for mss.but most reviews say that they perform better on mag ride cars.
And some people have said they are noisy.

If installed properly they're not noisy, haven't had a peep out of mine.

There are other comparable HAS spring options. KW, Eibach (only rear adjusters), ground control. All reputed to have good ride quality. I think ground control can be specced for spring rate and have adjusters on the bottom so easy to adjust on the car.

If the standered springs are too stiff for you,i dont have magride.i fitted the mss track springs and they are noticably softer.just did about a 10mm drop and still clears every speed bump i have gone over.

KWV3 is what I’m running - I ditched the magride and MSS Springs for it.

Fantastic upgrade, although pricey

Oli, why did you move away from the Mss set up? I believe you have been running that set up for nearly two years now?

What's the ride quality like in comparison to your stock shock set up.

I've been in a car with the KW DSC, they handled great in the 2nd setting (sports) but ride was a bit jiggly in comfort mode.

The MSS was good and I ran for 18 months with both 20” and 19” wheels but they just never felt perfect. So I ditched the magride, put in a delete and fitted the KWV3. Absolutely transformed the drive in every way. Less understeer, better ride, deals better with road imperfections - I just can’t fault it. So much so I’ve ordered the same for my new T6.1.

I’ve ditched the magride. They are so much better- see comments above.
