Hi, I have a 2015 S4 avant with drive select and sport suspension.

I'm toying with lowering it a little but I don't want to loose what sport suspension brings, what options do I have?

I went with H&R lowering springs in order to retain my drive select and it works very well. Uprated roll bars are also worth considering and they help keep heavy cars like ours flat and stable.

Only option would be springs really. How low were you looking to go?

I don't want to go too low I've currently got 40mm clearing so down to 20mm would probably do it. I'm leaning towards adjustable springs so I can move things if they don't feel right. Is it also worth getting some spacers when lowering things?

I've also got sport diff and wondering if I should upgrade both front and rear roll bars, I nearly bought 034Motorsport Billet Aluminum X-Brace when it was on offer for £350 but the price went back up to £1067 as I was going to make the purchase!! had it in my cart and everything!!
Also are the lowering springs you have, the adjustable ones?

@DPM ah cool I tried to look on your site but it's only showing for b7 and bellow be interested to see the price difference between the two and how they differ in terms usability :grinning:

(edit I was looking at s4 specifically, guess A4 works too!! but still can't see adjustable kits on there )

Ended up going with the H&R 20mm-40mm adjustable springs.

I'll do a before and after. considering doing a little video but will see if I can be bothered

Are you installing these yourself? If so, how will you get the wheel alignment checked afterwards?

yeah I am, just wait for my local tyre place to be open (just checked they are) I guess not really driving around much at the minute :smirk:

Though kwikfit seems to still be open so might go there if I really need it. But with the amount of driving I'm doing I'm just going to hold out until **** has chilled out a bit don't want to be spreading germs just for an alignment
