Hi all,

I'm looking to run the Torque Pro diagnostic tool with a bluetooth OBD scanner and before I had a go at coding it myself, I was wondering if anyone had any audi PIDs for the app? Preferably in the form of a .CSV so I can hoof it straight into the Torque directories.

Cheers!

Im running it real-time to monitor basic outputs, what would the need for custom PIDs be?

Likewise mate! Runs brilliant with the ELM I grabbed off ebay. Basically, without the custom VAG PIDs (the ones that VCDS and OBDeleven use) you can't access some values such as oil temp/level, fuel temp and various injection stats/timing stuffs (plus way more). Having the full set of VAG-COM 'custom PIDs would also give the ability to customise stuff to some extent, e.g. coming home light timings, locking sounds and other cool little bits (these are available to on OBDeleven app but I ******* hate the in-app purchase/micro-transaction style of it so refuse to use it hahaha

Can they be extracted from VAG-Com or other apps?

Yes, but a very lengthy job! Possibly encrypted too. I saw on a forum that someone managed to locate and tabulate pretty much every single BMW one, (link below in case useful for anyone) and by the sound of things on the forum they work great with torque. Was hoping someone may have done the same for Audi! Might make it a little project of mine. VCDS is initially a free download I guess, (license on OBD connectors etc) so I could install and sift through the file directories/ source code (if I can get to it) and see what I can find!
