Next model A3

Not the greatest images but managed to grab them from the brief A3 shots. Surprisingly I'm liking the new A3's design.

Just looks like the current A3 with an A1 front stuck onto it. Not offended at all. The exterior looks nice, in an understated Audi way.

It's the interior that will be the biggest problem for me.

They didn't really show any of the interior which was a bit weird.

Agreed - exterior is very similar to current car and feels more a face lift - but prefer that than how VW have wrecked the Golf.
I definitely don't like the dash though - seats and general fit & finish looks good though.

No rotary dial for the infotainment system. All through the stupid screen, so mean taking your eyes off the road. They've even got rid of the rotary dial for the heating settings.

The rest of the dashboard looks like very cheap shiny black plastic. And those air vents ever side of the steering wheel look nasty.

Take a look at the car wow video, he goes over the interior materials somewhat.

Extremely worrying interior, many plastics and stuck on looking afterthoughts. Obviously need to test the quality out in a real car though. As far as the front end is concerned the fake intake between the grill and the bonnet is a Audi thing now as the 2020 A4 also has this.

No fake exhausts LOL, in fact no exhausts at all...

Edition 1 and Vorsprung model from launch - Both include the matrix headlights although quite a price increase from the S-Line - Head Up Display with the Vorsprung

See what the S3 will bring later on I suppose

Dash is what was expected really from the A1/Q3 - Seat has been touch screen for a while now so was only a matter of time looking at all the other Audi's as well

Was just watching it. Looking at the video, the interior does look better than the still shots, but still not great. Really don't like those vents. Liking the seats.

But like everything, we'll get used to it no doubt. 333 bhp for the S3 is good news though. Just a shame it'll probably not be offered in a manual.

Wonder when the Saloon will be launched? No doubt next year?

Next S3 Saloon does sound tempting though. nice boost in power over the current car. It'll be interesting to see what power the next RS3 will get? I'm at least now 2 years away from changing cars, so might work out good for me.

Without trying to sound bias and being a current S3 owner, I think the new car looks great....both inside and out. I can really see the new RS3 being a great car. Look forward to seeing how this develops over the next 12 months.

Got to say I rather like the new Sportback though could do with some better alloys than the ones in the video. Love our current A3 and the new one looks very tempting. As mentioned the interior may take getting used to but seems to be the way things are heading now .

Looks better than expected but will hold any judgement until I see it in the metal. I've been in an A1 and the interior is better than the pictures but not a fan of everything being controlled by touch screen as is very difficult to use when driving.
The saloon would be the one I'm interested in.

Completely agree, does appear more FL than new. Tech gets obvious and needed upgrade. S3 and RS will look a lot better with decent wheels, stance and styling

Audi lost their way with Alloy design some years ago. But they've recently produced a couple lovely looking alloys. The optional 22" items on the new RS6. And the standard items on the new RS-Q3 Vorsprung trim.

So hopefully they're getting their Mojo back, and the next S3 / RS3 alloys will get some good looking items.

+1 , not keen on the vents at all but still not causing my interest to falter . Stunning looking car , Mythos or Daytona

Those vents :grimacing:

Exterior is usual Audi evolution not revolution, interior - bar the vents - is as expected with the Q3 styling. Not a bad thing really, didn’t like it until I had one as a rental and grew to really like it. Sadly touchscreen is the future so we’re just going to have to deal with it

Looks as well screwed together as the new 1 series but I reckon that will be a better drive and not nearly as spectacular as the A class

Great looking car but I would have changed way before the S3 is released later in the year. Not too different from the current car from the exterior , which is a bit disappointing when you consider the premium this will attract over the 8v. Might be interested in the S3 next year though.

You'd think they could have something with front facing radar, its just as conspicuous as it is on the 8V. VW managed to lose it behind the badge on the Golf 7.5 a couple of years ago

The lease on my A3 finishes in a couple of months, I was in 2 minds whether to hang on for the new A3, before looking elsewhere. Looking at the final version its auf wiedersehen Audi, and you can keep your dog sh1t customer service.

Some big savings looking at Carwow. 35TDI with a decent amount of options coming in at around 25 - 26k with 3k deposit contribution on PCP.

Fully loaded 40TFSI coming in around 33k though. 0 -60 in 6.2 , top end of 147...... Not too shoddy though not quite an S3 !

I quite like the body styling, but jury is out on the interior, think I'd need to see it in person and have a test drive. Fortunately the current agreement on my A3 is coming to an end so I now have a choice.

I like it...the dash is an evolution and not an A35 AMG disaster and the back end of the hatch looks better and I like the new bonnet/grill design. The saloon should look even better.
