Did the Revo stage 1 a month or so ago. Now that I've driven it a little more there's something else I've noticed. When TC is on and I give it the full beans, it results in TC kicking in but at the same time the revs remain high and it makes that hilarious noise like when you do a launch.

It's similar to the effect you get when you plant you foot at 60 and the car does a mini-launch. If this makes any sense, I'm curious to see if anyone else has had similar. It's not a problem (in fact it's fun) but I don't think it did this before the remap. Anyone?

I’m getting a REVO map next week but on a GPF car, what do you have mate?

This is very common and just turn the traction control off and there be no problem. Traction control is very sensitive and will pull the power back when turned on. Different sets of tyres sizes can make the traction control come on.

Right. It's just the behaviour is different with the map.

My car with traction control on was the same after it was mapped. There is just so much more torque and power the car detects.

My 2018 does this with TC in normal mode. Just parps about and ignores throttle input. Like, do one, let me finish turning out of this junction ... don't just leave me half way out ***
