Erratic S3

Morning all.
Been a while since ive been on here & am looking for a little help again :)

Has Anyone here seen this issue before ?

I've Pretty much re-built the engine in my 2002 S3 . over the past 12 months including new Cylinder Head / Oil Pump / Turbo / Timing Belt Kit etc etc. I'm quite happy with it at the min but it does have an issue that really winds me up.

This being the fact it only Boost's properly when it wants too.
The boost is always there & there's plenty of it. However its delivery is erratic & often unpredictable :( Has anyone else had this problem & could shed some light on it Please ?

Also it sometimes hangs on to its Rev's which I'm guessing is connected to the problem.
 
Revs hanging is often a faulty clutch switchhave you scanned the car for fault codes? Check all pipes for any leaks

It isn't showing any fault codes & most of the pipe work has been replace with OEM or upgraded to silicone m8
 
this sounds similar to my n75 issue i had, the thing was in wrong.

O.K. Cheers Danny. So I have a new N75 which I bought a while ago but forgot to fit :( Which way does go in ? ( long pipe to front of car ? )

n75 working? re-circulation valve working?

Cheers Zans. As said I have a N75 to go in if reqired. Recirc is a Forge adjustable which is being used as a Recirculation & Not blow-off. It has around 40 click adjustment & is set at around 18 or 20 so pretty much in the middle & on a Red spring if memory serves.
 
sure its long one to intake pipe, the one directly opposite is wastegate and the one that points down [as the pic ] is the one from the charge pipe.

check yours thats fitted first tho,
