Hi,
I've got a 2015 3.0 Allroad (272) with 42k miles on it. I've had it about 3 months now and whilst filling the washer I had a general look around the engine bay. Looking between the rad and the front of the engine I noticed a small amount of oil on the undertray. Looking in more detail it seems there is a small oil leak somewhere on the front of the engine - either a sensor or pulley seal I assume. The rest of the engine is spotless, looking almost new so this stands out and certainly wasn't there when I bought it.

The car has a 12 month "all component" Audi used car warranty, so I'm going to take it to my local Audi dealership for a healthcheck and for them to look at this. The question is, has anyone had or seen anything like this before? I'd like to go armed with as much information as possible just in case Audi claim it's not covered, despite oil leaks explicitly being covered in the warranty blurb!

Other than this small inconvenience...I love the car, just wish I'd found a bitdi when I was looking!

Hi,

Did you been with your car to your local Audi dealership? Whats the outcome?

I'm asking you, as my story is similar to yours. I've got a 2016 Allroad Sport (272) with 30000 miles on it. I've had it about 11 months now. After a quick check around the engine, I noticed a small amount of oil or fuel on the left side. Yesterday after I dropped to my local Audi dealership and they send me a video saying that, I have to replace the seals that go around all 4 injectors and the rocker cover gasket.

I have a 12 months Audi approved used car warranty. Is anyone know if the above issues are covered by this warranty?

Thanks.

They should of told you if it was covered when they contacted you about what needs doing.

I have an oil leak from the left hand side rocker cover gasket, spraying oil onto the exhaust
a local garage has quoted £120 to change the gasket!

That a good price! Audi service said that will take them 5 hours to change the seals from the all 4 injectors and the rocker cover gasket.
