I'm running 99 but with the dongle you can choose from a number of maps incl a 95 one.

Are you using an Octane booster or 99ron available at the pumps in the UK. I have the performance exhaust and have already alot of pops and bangs, you think it's much more?

99 from the pumps here.

As stated above, this didn't effect pop and bangs greatly. Stock isn't what I'd describe as a lot. Revo stage 1 adds very little to this but lots to the power.

Did you also get the DSG mapped? When I spoke to MRC they said that they almost always include the DSG map even with Stage 1. When I spoke to my local Revo dealer they said no point in the DSG map on a Revo Stage 1?

I had my FL RS3 mapped by MRC last week. I opted for the DSG map. My advice is 100% go for it. Car is completely normal under normal driving, but when on it in S or manual, the gear changes are violent. Feels exactly like a single seater i drove at a trackday once. Really improves the overall feel of the car on the limit.

Regarding pops and bangs on the overrun, can confirm that the MRC map makes this happen. Mine now pops and bangs constantly on the overrun. Every single time too.

Hi Bonstio, love the colour combo on the Nano Grey. I have them same on Aura Blue. I am looking at getting Revo Stage 1 on my 2018 FL no GPF, just having a year warranty left is putting me off a bit. What Ron fuel are you running? As I am in Ireland and 95ron at the pump.

MRC has a fantastic reputation built over many years. I’d trust one of their tunes over many off the shelf offerings.

I am leaning towards the Revo map to be honest, spoke to Daltons and he's on the ball now and very informative. Have you the FL 8V also?
