Q3 Display language changing to German

Hi all,
Can anyone please shed some light on why the display on my in laws 2011 Q3 keeps changing to German. It’s happened twice in 2 days, and they have had to use google translate to get it back to English.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not that they’re aware of, it’s just the language that has changed.

Not entirely sure what MMI system it is but the software version is RMC_EU_P11474

You have RMC

Current firmware level for your unit is K16158. Would suggest getting your unit updated to resolve any bugs however you could try a reset from the settings menu and then monitor for language changes.

Do you know how much an update would cost? Not sure they would want to spend a lot on an update. I’ll try a reset 1st and see if the problem arises again. Thanks for the suggestions

I myself would ask £45.00 for the update, Audi would change an hours labour at approx £100.00.
