How to update my MMI

Hi there,

I’ve recently bought my first Audi, a 2013 A6 Allroad. I seem to be running MMI vP0532 (which you can see on the image below) which doesn’t have the ability to have a SIM card for data/G. Maps and then use your mobile phone for calls etc. I also don’t seem to be able to get a connection to the internet to set up the code I have from the Audi Connect app to register the car as mine with Audi (probably all the same issue).

How do I update my system? I don’t want to be paying anymore dealer fees so I’m looking for a step by step guide with links to the files if possible?

Also, I realise that updating the maps is a different thing which I’d also like to tackle, but I’d like to get the MMI system update first unless there’s specific reasons why they need to be done together.

I think it's a bit much to expect someone to post step-by-step guides, links for files etc.

I recently purchased mine online off an online seller to upgrade my 3G+ System... Updated maps & MMI interface. £60 delivered, on SD Cards with full instructions.

Im very happy and the guys site has very positive reviews.

You can go to myaudi's website. add your vehicle info. then click on audi connect service. click map update. then download. oh youll need an SD card too.

That only works if you have a facelift car and the upgraded navigation. The OP only has the latter so cannot do online updates

And myaudi content only updates the Maps and not the mmi

No helped him with mmi update. Had sim problems.
