Round here it seems to be dicks in Nissan pick up Trucks

I just knew this old plonker in his Merc was going to pull out on me...

Reviving this thread, had an idiot in a taxi decide she didn't want to stop at the give way lines and would just carry on pulling out in front of me yesterday!

I think this also shows why a dashcam is a good idea: Imagine the headline "Driver in his high powered car kills two young lads" (drivers fault) ermmm dashcam footage would say otherwise!

As soon as I saw them I slowed down expecting them to do something stupid...and they did! They didn't even look!

It is sometimes the case, that more careful driver you are or become, some other twit will have your steady driving in their rears.

Who cares that you're young, have a family, ones who love you and have whole life ahead of you. No! You just need to be there where you should and best 5 minutes ago. So you just step on it and run as thunder.

Such a waste of life.

Sincere condolences to he's family.

This is aggravating!

No dash cam or witnesses will bring him back

I am well overdue to get my dash cam and will get one soon but will still continue to drive as a careful, considerate and responsible person.

Hopefully will drop a video here myself as here (London) all kind of happens on the road.

Let my bro borrow my s3 for the weekend while his was in the shop, when he hands it back he says my car is like a magnet for idiots, he lost count how many times people tried to race him, or cut him up or undertake him (he drives a kia sportage so not used to this behaviour lol) seems when other drivers see an S3 they have something to prove hehe

Amen, I don’t live in London but I often drive in London with my job and it is by far the worst place I’ve ever driven in. Selfish, rude and arrogant tw@ts seem to dominate here. If you don’t already have a dash cam then I’d say get one now.

Accelerating from stand still up to 70-80km/t (in a 60 zone, I know), was going to move into the inner lane when I saw this guy which made me decide to keep my lane, because of course he wouldn't be that stupid to cross all the lanes... My comment says it all, even though it's danish :racer:

I just love it when some tick **** driving a car where the wheels double the value of their car want to engage me in a traffic light Grand Prix. My usual game is, I slip my car into launch contol and gun the loud pedal. Then just as the lights change I stop launch control and watch the poor sods fly off up the road with clouds of smoke and rubber emanating from their cars and I just pull away laughing, just love it.

Thank you kind sir :hi: The attentive viewer may also have noticed that I let off the gas when I passed him, this was to give him a smile and a one-finger-wave (Not his one: :thumbs up:)

Of course this is a perfect demonstration of why you should not exceed the speed limit in a built up area, even if you think the road is clear. You never know what will pop up in front of you. Could have been a child running out into the road.

I was overtaking some cars on a dual carriageway, doing about 75 at the time, when a Audi A4 came up behind me and proceeded to drive about 2 inches off my bumper.
I was glancing at him in the rear view mirror and noticed he kept looking down to his lap and then it dawned on me, he was checking his phone while driving 2 inches off my bumper.
When I pulled in it took him a while to realise I had gone before he proceeded to tailgate the next car.

I have a front dashcam but it's maybe time to fit a rear one..

As a lot of us have dashcams I thought it would an idea for us to share some of the idiots that we come across on a day to day basis!

From the last few days-

These two idiots decided to use the lane to turn left to undertake me and then cut in front just before they ran out of road:

Today, Cut the corner why don't you:

Today, Could see what she was going to do before she did it, good job I didn't take MY lane!:

A couple of weeks back, a woman with a deathwish

oh c'mooon what ar u instructor?? u just showed little drivers mistakes.. I would never worry about .. that cutting when turning that was bit ok would beep .. and car in renault pleease there was young woman defo just passed driving test ... and woman crossing road you been too far so she decided to cross .. if I see ppl already on road I just stop smile and continue .. why get angry behind the steering wheel like english ppl swearing every day and yet nobody her them :D
I've seen much much worse drivers

I'm of the opinion that a lot of people nowadays have got there driving license in a lucky bag ...
well nobody would drive then :D and that's why uk has most expensive car insurance

@S32B What part of the UK are you from? This looks like normal driving style for London:scared2:

Undertake in a left hand turn lane and cut you up - Yep
Pedestrians walking out in front of you - Yep
Idiots on Boris bikes, which means they can go through red lights -Yep
Signal, manoeuvre and then check mirror to see who you have just cut up - Yep
Sound the horn if you haven't moved off on the Amber light quicker than Lewis -Yep

I could go on!

Anyway great thread...keep the vids coming!
hhaha exactly :D every time I went to london I was on extra care and somone just got into my lane without indicating , drivers in london has time to get out from car and shout on cyclists :D or other car or pedestrians and argue .. :D

What he was blind or somethin? he didn't see S logo ? What he was thinking?? some ashole because had phone in hands ! fkin HATE that!
u supposed to have rear loong time ago c'moon :)

You're so right and even though I got p!ssed off I see this as a lesson.

The problem here is the fact that many drivers only look once, not twice to gauge oncoming traffic speed. I bet when he looked you were doing about 25, 30 so just assumed it was OK to go without looking again. They never anticipated that you'd be doing 50 odd in the next 2 seconds.

One really does have to assume that all other drivers are incompetent these days.

Guyz but don't be like u are geniuses on road... like u never made mistakes ... you only betting u only assuming .. I been driving 3 years here in uk but I learned and realised not always is all properly marked on roads and mostly u need to act fast .. And you definately made mistakes too not maybe huge but minor and other drivers been swearing (pointlessly just for themselves) on you too so .. nobody is perfect .. Now if someone make mistake I don't go like fk fk , u twt ooh u idiot u crazy .. i just slowly close eyes on them open throw smirk like it's ok I do sht sometimes too and carry oon driving if it's some nice sexy girl which is probalby finished test I just wink at her .. and smile .. or wud get number of her :p

The thing is the guy driving was swearing and giving me the finger like it was my fault ?
ppl will make mistakes and will never admit bcos many ppl are arrogant and rude .. this is rude country .. One time one cheeky girl showed me finger it was her fault I laughed then I said to my self ''what you bitch :D I just making fun of it .. no point stressing anymore :)

We're not, and I do screw up from time to time but will acknowledge my mistakes to those effected. This is not the point though, it is not about mistakes it is about incompetence. There are far too many drivers that are only really safe on the road if no one / nothing else is around to confuse them. Can spot them a mile off before they have even done anything. Cambridgeshire seems to be worse than other counties. Impatient / aggressive / dangerous driving is somewhat predictable unless they make a particularly bad misjudgment so can at least be anticipated, where as incompetent drivers are completely unpredictable and often do random stuff at any moment. Far more dangerous IMO.
