Just seeing if anyone here has any interest in purchasing my PCH Leased S3 SB BE before it is collected by BCA on the 5th November and taken to auction. The price to purchase is £27,600 which must be paid directly to BCA car sales. I have leased the car since April last year and it has only covered 9,100miles, the car is parked on private property waiting collection and is not being used.

Spec is quite basic but comes with full black leather Interior, rear Park sensors and being pre-facelift has the 310bhp.

Anyone interested please PM me directly.

Hi Sandra, I have had a chat with Matthew but unfortunately there isn't enough wriggle room in the price for him to move it on. The other problem is that he would have to register the car in his name which isn't the case when trade purchase from auction.
It was just a shot in the dark really as it may have been what someone was looking for especially with just 9,100 miles and full Audi warranty until April 2020.

It's being collected by BCA next Tuesday and will then go to a closed auction, so will no doubt end up on a forecourt in the coming weeks. I would certainly be interested to know what price it goes for.

This was collected by BCA on 5th November last year and is now on Preston Audis forecourt with a sticker price of 30k.

I was reading your post and thought even £27600 is far too strong a price. And I was right, there’s loads of black editions 18 plate less than 12k miles on autotrader for £27k and less. 30k no chance.

I bought my 67 plate s3 black edition brand new a few years ago for 31k so they’re having a giggle

I was happy to pay 26k but no they wouldn't budge on 27.6k so I handed it back. As you say they are certainly having a giraffe, who in their right mind would pay 30k for no virtual cockpit, no power fold mirrors, no magnetic ride and no sports seats.

Just to add I picked up a nicely specced 19plate M140i SE with pro nav, adaptive, sunroof, power fold/heated mirrors for 27k and more than happy with it.

Now £26,500.

It then makes you wonder how much audi paid for it then. My guess it’s now been sold at cost.

I know it went into a closed dealer only auction so cost is probably right. Being so lightly specced they will struggle at 26k but Audi can afford to suck up the losses so they can control their used market.

In closed auctions cars go for less than trade value. But not by much. Audi UK can’t dictate used car prices. Ultimately each Center will have a ‘buyer’ who’s job it is to buy cars they think they can profit from.

I think in this case someone had their sums wrong as a quick look on Autotrader shows there are 160 of these cars (2017 - 2018) sat on dealer forecourts.

I just sold my 04/18 BE with lots of bits, see my signature ... Bristol Sold it for £29500 and giving me most of it back! Base spec for £30k seems too high to me.

That’s a really good price! I sold my standard navarra black edition (67) 3 months old for £29500 back in January 2018. And that was a good price for it!

It is all down to spec. Mine had pan roof, 19 wheels, Mag ride, tech pack etc.base spec will always fetch far less money but it’s a more limited market for high spec cars. Mine was a £42k car I bought for £33.5 new with PCP contribution so cost me about £5k for 2 years and over 18k miles.
