I’m looking to lower my 2013 1.4TFSI 8V A3 Sport. I’ve heard that the Sport is lower from factory than the standard SE models. Does anyone know how much by? I’ve heard 5mm and 15mm, I’ve also heard it’s only S-Line that’s lowered and not Sport at all so I’m not sure what to think. I’m looking at lowering springs so I’m trying to find out if it is lower from factory so I can buy the right ones.

Thanks in advance

Damian @DPM should be able to advise you what’s best for your car.

Don’t know the values but Sport is lower that SE and S-line is lower than Sport.
But you could specify different heights from the factory (eg my saloon has SE suspension)
So you need to check the actual spec to see which suspension your car has.

The spec says it has Sport suspension. So definitely lower than SE at least

Right - you mean via the code numbers attached to the label in the boot and the “service”book? That’s the governing factor.

You need to check your specific spec as I think it may have been an option to delete the lowered suspension on the sport model

I’ve entered my VIN into myAudi and standard equipment includes sport suspension. I’ve looked through my options codes and the ones regarding suspension are these:

1JC = Rear shock absorption for sports design
G01 = Front shock absorption
L11 = Suspension range 11 installation control only, no requirement forecast

unless I’ve entered them wrong ‍♀️

I have a 2016 8v 150tdi quattro. My codes are

PRCode: 1JC = Rear shock absorption for sports design
PRCode: G02 = Front shock absorption
PRCode: L31 = Suspension range 31 installation control only no requirement forecast

What's the difference with G02 and L31 compared to above??

I want to lower mine by 20 - 25mm (actual).

I found an Eibach code (E10-15-021-10-22) but got conflicting info from different sites whether it fitted or not.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sport is usually approximately 10mm lower than factory. How much further are you looking to lower?

Damian @ DPM Performance
I only want to close off the arch gap a bit, so perhaps about 20-30mm

Do you have SE, Sport or S-Line?
