Hi everyone
I've given the car a bit of a clean in between showers. I know it's not an audi but a couple of chaps have asked to see it. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and its had 4,000 miles put on at the dealers with obviously no protection on it. I never pay for the protection they offer as they would have just put it over the rough paint. I started to wash it last week but the paintwork felt rough (worst I've ever owned but soon fixed) so I ordered some Korrosol. Haven't needed to use Korrosol or the like before. I preferred this route rather than claying it with it being black. I've had Obsidian black before on an old slk and found it marked easily. Used it this morning and I'm really happy with it. The paintwork is a lot smoother. I should have got the snowfoam gun out but didn't really have time and I wanted to get some sort of protection on it. Only did a 2bucket wash using Autofinesse Lather then the korrosol then another wash with the last of the autofinesse lather I had to use up.
I usually use Carpro Hydro on my cars but i didn't get the jetwash out so I finished off with the turtle wax hybrid spray sealant. It says on the bottle that it can be used on a wet or dry car but I've found it a lot easier to use when I dry the car before using. A little goes a long way. Polished the tips a little bit with some autosol but I will have another go another day.
The interior has changed since my 2018 model. The tablet is longer and lower down and not as in your face and I have the matt look console this time rather than the black gloss. Red stitching on the dash is nice too.
Some before and after pics. Not very good pics as my drive is quite tight to get a pic. I know a lot of folks here prefer the audi's but I've had a TT and the S3 and they weren't for me.
I'm hoping that the pics work as I haven't used photobucket for years.

At least it's funny and not sad. The saddest quote goes to the bloke who said my car is a heap of junk and then deleted it.
@SaraS3 - Very true :thumbs up:
It was me who deleted that post as I thought it was an unnecessary comment
