Updated the maps to 2019, if you want to attempt this make sure you have the car hooked up to a battery charger and won't be needing the car for 2-3 hours!

Also enabled tyre pressure monitoring (luckily this S4 has the correct ABS module - my last one did not) and rear DRLs via VCDS

I am a new owner of a pre-owned 2014 A4, S-line. Today I installed splash guards, it seems they are hard to find
as the Audi ones do not fit the S-line. But, I found a set of 4 from a seller on the famous auction site for $21.00,
they also say they don't fit the S-line but they do just fine.
They fit perfectly, I like mud guards for rock chips and extra splash protection. I live in the country and drive on 1-2 miles of gravel to get to the highway.

Next project is new tires, on Monday, I saw mentioned nut covers on the wheels, so tell me more about those, how
do you remove them. I would like to remove them before I take to the local tire place. I have the 18" 10 spoke, I like
this wheel.

Booked it in for a pulley and Stage 2

Just under 2 weeks to wait

Went to MRC yesterday for a Stage 2 package on the S4.
Haven't been able to test the car out much but feels like a different animal!
Gear shifts seem violent and acceleration throws you back into your seat.
Can finally hear some supercharger whine too. I may remove the air box cover to be able to hear more but not decided yet.
Chuffed with the results.

Well that didn't go to plan. Caps aren't a good enough fit

No pics as the car is filthy. Ringing audi in the morning to see if they do black centre cpas, if not I'll have to try a different set off ebay.
The clips weren't far enough out to told the caps.

Cheers. Going to pop into my local stealers tomorrow and see how much? If not cheap ones off ebay will be getting nodded to fit.

^Insane pricing. I've had black ones from the bay on my car for two years now and they are still going strong. I just avoid direct wheel cleaner spray on them (as expected).

I had to buy front wiper blades for my S4 from the stealers last week, as for the first time ever the Bosch ones didn't have the correct mounting clips.
I bought 4 Bosch Aero wipers (two for my wifes 14 plate Polo) for the total sum of £34 inc vat from my local motor factors, Audi price for a pair???????

£47.00 :fearscream: (at least **** Turpin wore a mask).
But they did come in a nice Audi logo'd box.

Oh and I asked if they had a lifetime guarantee for that price, going by the blank look on the guys face he didn't get the joke!

Well the saga continues. Another set arrived, didn't fit
Doing all I can to avoid paying £109.
Had another look and you can split the caps. So I've removed the silver edge and rings, going to spray the center gloss black and re fit. See if it works if not a trip to the stealers will be in order

If the painting doesn't work, try black nail polish :thumbs up:

There you go...

Hardest part is to make sure you get the measurements and cutting right...

I was lucky to have a cut out of old door cards...

I have an extra set of door cards, old (grey) door cards cut outs, roller blinds and grey trims (that can be painted black)... pm me if interested...

Well today was a full Drive train service, Changed the DSG oil with both filters. Then did the Centre diff and last was the both sides of the sports diff.

It all went well and was a straight forward job thanks to the use of my mates lift. Took just over 3 hours to do but i did have every thing prepped and labeled ready to go.

Car drives fine and shifts ok so now I can plan for the stage 2 install.

Cost £13 for the Box tube , £11 for the Primer and gloss black. Time Free

Serviced and MOTed. MOT advisory that front discs and pads will need changing soon, what an excellent excuse for the Macan calliper upgrade!!!

How much for service if you dont mind and what oil was used ..

Had a big service last year so this is just a minor I guess. Service and MOT was just over £200 from my local indy garage. Oil wise I didn't tell them what to use so it'll just be to spec I'm guessing.

Just had front & rear lights tinted , not sure about the backs though a tad too dark imo[photo=medium]10525[/photo]
